So the temps will tell the tale, DO keep having attempts regularly in case this is a dip/rise thing and not a "I just Oed" thing.

Did you have any symptoms that indicate you just ovualated?
Yes! Very crampy... o type pains

Now that is more like it! Ha ha! I see this very regularly where a chart looks ovulatory and then the temp really rises and it's all put into context. Good luck and pink dust!

    Thank you, atomic!

My RE appt went well. They did a physical on me and that was it... i had to give them "our story" with ttc and i was super informative. Even packed a binder with all my charts and opks so I could explain how each month went with Clomid. The doc was very nice and wants to get down to the bottom of what may be going on (possible underlying thyroid condition).

I have a TON of bloodwork to get done, but they are all CD # specific. I have to get 2 different ultrasounds done- one is a HSG (where they inject a dye into your fallopian tubes to check for blockage-- heard it's SUPER PAINFUL ) and a SHG (where they inject saline into your uterus to check for fibroids or pollups)... for the blood work I have to wait until my cycle starts-- call in on CD1 and have bloodwork done on either cycle day 2, 3 or 4 ... then after bleeding ends, I have to have both ultrasounds done before I ovulate so roughly between CD6 and CD13 (but cant do them the same day). My hubby has to do another semen analysis. He's not very happy about that. Lol. But that's where we are at with things. My doc mentioned about ordering me a blood test yesterday to check for pregnancy but must have forgotten... when I called back in to ask about that since my temps are high and I haven't gotten a period yet, they said if i don't start my pd in 10 days then they'll order me a test and if I'm not pregnant, they'll prescribe me provera to induce a period.

Overall, I'm happy with all they are doing to try to figure out what's going on. I hope this goes faster than what it seems like it's going to take. Stinks that I have to wait for my cycle to start to begin anything. BUT I'm secretly hoping that I'm already pregnant and I don't have to go through all this stuff! I guess time will tell.

Hey, humor me and wait 14 days past NOT the crosshairs, but that little temp dip that ~looks~ like it's 5 days past ovulation just in case that is ACTUAL ovulation. See how some of your FP temps were actually higher then those?? I think it's plausible that was actually your ovulation day and since you did have some attempts around about then, I don't want you to get the blood test too soon, assume you're not pregnant, and start Provera if you really are pregnant.

There is no harm in waiting a few more days to start Provera and it could possibly save a pregnancy if you did O even later than the chart is showing. I've seen it happen often enough especially with these crazy charts so just humor me and do the test 4-5 days past when they say to, if AF doesn't come.

And they probably already told you this, but no more unprotected sex from here on in. It is unlikely you haven't Oed yet, but if you haven't, and then you did, and had unprotected sex, you could have possibly conceived from later O still and then start Provera thinking you aren't pregnant. (hope all this makes sense - we just don't want to assume anything here that could jeopardize a pregnancy.)

Keep us posted how it's going - hoping the tests are super easy but more than that - that you don't need any of them since you're already pregnant.

I'm following you exactly! Pbn thought the same thing too... that it could have ovulated even later than what the FAM detector is showing in FF based on pre/post O temps. Hoping either one is the case! When I called the nurses like back to ask about the blood pregnancy test, she told me the same thing.... that from yesterday on-- to abstain for 10 days, if I still have not gotten a period, to call in on that tenth day and ask for a pregnancy blood test and also progesterone levels to be checked. Once they get the results from those 2 tests, assuming they are negative results, then she would prescribe me the provera. While on provera, abstain for the 10 days you take it and that should induce a period. Once I get my period, I should also abstain why they do all the bloodwork and ultrasounds.

At that point we'd be talking about nearly a month without sex!!! Lol if we wear a condom, is that ok? All those measures are just a precaution so I don't end up getting pregnant while having medicines and procedures that aren't save for fetus'.

We abstained for 3 days total on my appt day bc I wasn't sure if they were going to send my hubby for a SA that day. He has to get one but has to schedule an appt.

So going by the theory that I'm actually on CD37/5dpo and not CD37/9pdo when would I request a blood test for the 5dpo theory? Just being clear hahah! thanks atomic!

Exciting! It sounds like you have an RE who is really on the ball!

I don't think the HSG is always super painful, I think different women have different experiences, with some finding it super painful, and some finding it merely uncomfortable. DH can buck up, because if you have go through having doctors put tubes up your uterus, he can masturbate in a cup!

    Best luck!
