Did anyone else have a cheat right before ovulation? And then feel sick with guilt?! I experience a very long cycle previously so wasn’t sure when ovulation would be, was starting to get fed up and had a lot of cheats over the weekend and then ovulated on the Monday. Now I am panicking! I know I don’t know if I am pregnant yet but am just so annoyed that I swayed for 5 months and then had a cheat right before ovulation! :-( it was a cheat on calories and some best avoided foods (onion and garlic) also a night out drinking which obviously isn’t good for blood sugar :-( but I remain vegan. so disappointed in myself! Just really looking for anyone else in the same boat at the moment or someone that did the same but then had a successful sway to help me stop panicking!!

Babylove I know we've talked about this already, posting this reply for others who are reading and wondering the same thing.
I have the full guide to cheating on diet here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...blue-pink.html
Nothing you do for one day or a weekend or even a week makes any difference. If it did, we would only sway for a day or a weekend or a week. We would not see the very clear demarcation we do, with 2-4 weeks on diet getting poor results, then the results gradually improve till the 12 week plus mark (even though the people on diet a short time are usually very strict, and those on diet longer have nearly always relaxed and cheated on occasion) if one day of anything made any difference at all. It just doesn't work that way.
Girl, deep breath here. NOTHING in swaying works like that. Not alcohol, not one day of cheating, and 100% for sure, not a little bit of onion and garlic. The reason swaying works is because things (plural, many, many things) send signals to your body that a baby boy (or girl) has a better chance to survive to adulthood to pass down genes to future generations than a baby girl (or boy). There is NO WAY on the planet that eating some "forbidden food" (which, there are no forbidden foods on the LE Diet) could do that! Otherwise the blue swayers would eat a piece of celery or some onions and my job would be obsolete.
You are getting way too hung up on the details. We would not be seeing very strong trend for 12 weeks or more on the diet getting good results if it could all be undone by a single day. And garlic and onions are in EVERYTHING. Most people around the world eat them every day in large amounts and yet the gender ratio is 50-50 all around the world.
When I made the LE Diet I had to take into account what was said on some of the other sway sites. If I could keep a certain element of their diets (no matter how dumb/unlikely I thought it was) in the mix of LE Diet without making a super restrictive diet or being unhealthy, I did. I do not think celery or garlic or onions ~really~ raise testosterone (and if they do, you would have to eat a whole lot of them) and beyond that, raising testosterone is not even proven for swaying. The evidence is ridiculously sparse supporting the entire concept. I kept those things around because it was easy enough to avoid or cut back on them, not because a single food can sway like that.!!! It’s towards the bottom of the article that it says about calories at conception. But some of the other things like breakfast that they mention are things that we all agree with on here. It was just the calories at conception that got me!

That is just some journalist who quickly read through the exact same studies that I have read and was quickly summing them up. This was not some carefully experiment where women ONLY ate a certain number of calories AT CONCEPTION, they were very likely eating that much all along. They weren't trying for a baby of a certain gender, they were just eating whatever they wanted. They weren't eating very restrictively except for one day before conception. You're drawing a conclusion that is not in any way warranted by the data in that study. The point of that study was not to test food intake at conception only, it was not designed to test anything related to gender swaying, it was testing for diet and birth defects and then they realized along the way that the women who were eating the most nutrients were the ones that had the most boys. That's it. It's what we already DO here. I used that study extensively when I designed LE Diet and it's the basis of much of what I do with the diet. It was NEVER testing conception only, they just used that as a baseline indicator of what the women were typically eating anyway.

Yes and I went vegetarian it’s normal to think about every little detail. Remember even the perfect textbook sway can result in a boy. Just relax you did your best and finger crossed for a girl! I was obsessed with my sway and my first 17 weeks of my pregnancy I was depressed thinking I was carrying a boy! When I found out it was a girl it was the most exciting feeling! I did hav a very difficult pregnancy so enjoy every minute of your pregnancy when you become pregnant
