Kikurose I honestly couldn't tell when you have ovulated, but I'm no expert... Do you normally o so early as your opk would indicate? Was it you whose husband was not at home for a while so you couldn't get attempts in? If that's the case and you're chart is right saying there was no attempt at pos op, then it would be a good thing if you ovulated later? Fx!!!

Lol pbn [emoji23][emoji8] My test is actually not as dark as I would like it to be. Yesterday there was no line progression at all and I convinced myself that this was the next chemical. This morning it's at least a tad darker. This waiting game is so nerve-wracking...

No clue where i should write this post, but its sway related. Not sure when we will decide to TTC again, but we know we want a second child to hold. Im having a lot of guilt, as if my swaying caused my miscarriage. Did anyone else go through this with their miscarriage? I didnt take prenatal vitamins, but did DHA and folic acid. I have my d&c follow up on Thursday. We'll probably get the go ahead, but i am debating just neither preventing nor tracking or swaying. I was swaying girl and still desperately want a baby girl, but i also don't want to go through another loss.

Hgmama I'm so sorry again [emoji22] Swaying does not cause miscarriages, it just means something wasn't quite right and the body would not allow the pregnancy to progress. I know you're looking for a reason and the first place we go looking is at ourselves and what we did to cause this... But it's not your fault [emoji173] I did everything by the book to promote a healthly conception and pregnancy and still had losses. I did everything wrong when I gave up ttc and now my dd is laying next to me...

It is entirely up to you what you do swaying wise, how much you do or dont sway is a very personal decision. Do what you're comfortable with [emoji173] I would suggest at least keeping the one attempt tactic via e4d (every 72 hours) OR have hubby release e4d with or without you (condom with you) prior to your one unprotected attempt. This will keep his swimmers in good health.

Verena - That's a beautiful line!! Looks much darker than the past few days!!!

HGMama - I'm so, so sorry about your loss. I hope you've been able to get some rest. After my D&C, I stayed in bed most of the first few days depressed and crying (thankfully, my inlaws were visiting so they could watch my kids). It's a terrible thing to have to go through. I know how you feel as far as wondering if swaying contributed to the m/c - I've had a lot of that guilt specifically, especially after my 2nd miscarriage in December. After that one I was convinced swaying had caused it. I even had family members telling me that maybe all my weight loss was the cause (I asked my RE about this and she said definitely not). This time around I felt even more guilt but it wasn't so much about swaying - it was more about if I did something after getting pregnant that caused the miscarriage. But moral of the story, I think guilt is a very natural instinct/emotion after miscarriages. I've been reading a lot about miscarriage in the past few weeks and I see that theme repeatedly - that women usually feel guilty, they blame themselves for all kinds of things that must have "caused" the miscarriage, when it really is nothing that they did. So I think what you're feeling is normal - and it's not exclusive to women who sway.

I don't think, like Pbn said, that swaying causes miscarriages... but here's a few things I'd throw out there as you're thinking through this. One - were you doing the "atomic fertility"/LE PCOS version of the diet? Because I think that's actually a very healthy diet - you're supposed to eat a lot of fruits/veggies, whole grains, no/little white flour/sugar, as well as 4-6 eggs per week, salmon or beef once per week, and you can have small amounts of other meat like chicken. The protein and fat limits are a little higher too. If you weren't doing that version of the diet before and are feeling concerned about the effects of swaying maybe you could try that version? As far as it swaying, Atomic actually thinks it's more effective than the regular LE diet. Also, I have read articles about caffeine and alcohol pre-conception contributing to m/c risk. I know lots and lots of women on here are consuming a lot of caffeine and daily alcohol and do just fine but it is something I've decided to be more careful about. I have switched entirely to decaf coffee (naturally processed/swiss water processed, so it doesn't have all the chemicals of normal decaf) - both because of my m/c's and because I have an underlying health condition that's aggravated by caffeine. So while I'm still doing 3-4 cups of coffee per day for my sway, I get almost no caffeine per day (and yes I'm more tired lately LOL!). And I still think the decaf is probably helping my sway. I still drink a fair amount of wine but I'm thinking as we get closer to trying again (if we do, and if so it wont be for at least another month), I'm probably going to cut this back and limit it to a glass of red every couple of days or so. And as far as exercise, if anything I think that's a very healthy habit pre-conception, especially as for swaying you're supposed to do moderate cardio (60 minutes), not some crazy high intensity exercise. And one attempt or E4D, especially if DH is releasing regularly (not abstaining) is definitely a good tactic still and not in any way risky.

Also - I would ask atomic about this - but after my 1st or 2nd m/c (I honestly can't remember) she recommended taking zinc 3x/week, iron I think 3x/week, and a low dose of vitamin D and B12 twice a week. She also had me up my folate intake (not folic acid, specifically folate) from 1,600 mcg per day to 2,400. Again - I'd ask her about any supplement recommendations but that's what she told me.

Anyways - hope that's helpful. It's tough I know. After 3 m/c, I'm now undergoing all the testing for "recurrent pregnancy loss" and that's very stressful as well. Remember you're not alone - so many on here have had such difficult journeys trying to conceive and stay pregnant and we're all here for support whenever you need!!!
