Hello! I'm 28, DH is 29. We have an 8 year old boy and we are hoping for a girl to balance our little familyThere seem to be so many conflicting ways to sway so we're hoping to get some guidance and feedback from real people! We're leaning towards LE diet and cardio but I'm not sure where to start with frequency and any supplements. We're hoping to start TTC this summer so any advice is welcomed

Good luck with your pink sway. I like to stick to the one sway site so you're using strategies that work together rather than using lots of sites and trying to include (often contradictory) bits from everywhere.

Thank you! DH is pretty skeptical about swaying but he would love a little princess to spoil so he’s helped research past posts here, haha. LE seems to be most consistent (and makes the most sense), so we’re planning on going with that. Yesterday was day one and we’re TTC June/July. Prenatal vitamins seem to be counter the “benefit” of restricted diet, so those wouldn’t help sway pink, correct?
As far as weight loss goes, do you recommend a certain range? I’m pretty petite and don’t have much to lose, but our family tends to be focused on healthy eating (esp. nutrient dense foods) so scaling that back might be more influential...?
What do you recommend as far as timing/frequency for BD? DH spent the last year deployed LOL so we’re making up for lost time😂. We went through the charts and I’m a little confused on the difference between compressed frequent release (what does that even mean??) versus abstinence vs one attempt.
Thank you!!

Yes prenatal vitamins add nutrients and we are trying to avoid that if possible. It's fine for your health to start prenatal at BFP. Only folic acid/folate has been shown to prevent birth defects when taken prior to conceiving.
For weight loss, I want you guys to stop losing weight (or hold steady) at BMI 21 and below. If you're already below that then don't lose anything. That way you have a little margin for error if some weight does still continue to come off. At BMI 18.5 that is the absolute barest minimum (and when you're petite, it only takes a few lbs to drop from BMI 21 to 18.5, so PLEASE stop losing weight at BMI 21 so you have that cushion).
Yes the diet changes over time are what matters by far and away more than weight loss.
We never use compressed FR any more. It was too hard to stick with, cut odds of conception too much, and none of the frequency patterns worked anyway. The important thing is the one attempt, stick with that as long as you can. If your husband is under 35 he can do abstain, if over 35 do daily release, or just do daily release anyway since you guys have been apart for so long!Neither abstain nor daily release has worked anyway. Be sure to drop the frequency before adding attempts.

Okay, perfect. I’ll try to not lose, but eat more junk and less “healthy” food, right? Sounds fun 😂
He’s 29. But it sounds like we don’t have to worry about timing or frequency until we are actually TTC (right?).

Not necessarily - I'm going to go into more about your diet when I do your plan. Some people do need to continue more healthful eating (and NO ONE needs to eat only junk for a pink sway. that's a misconception)
Avoid fortified foods and multivitamins. Everything else is fine on LE Diet within limits for fat, protein, and calories. Low carb vegetables are actually free and unlimited, you can have as much as you want, no need to count anything in them. Higher carb veg like potatoes and fruit are free for protein and fat (do not count that at all) but do count calories.
You can still eat a LOT of very healthy foods on LE Diet.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
