And yup - I was BF-ing DS2 (not exclusively b/c I have a crappy milk supply) and AF came either 4 weeks or 6 weeks after he was born. I forget exactly when, but it was quick. My cycles are sooooo clockwork - even all the swaying, dieting, losing weight didn't throw them off at all! Nuts. It all sounds like hyperfertility. I really don't know much about DH's sperm though - he did have a SA in October in which all was "normal" (high sperm count actually) but is that telling us enough about his sperm health?

Well - maybe if AF comes soon then things will go back to normal on the next cycle!! I know what you're still facing with DH's sperm but I'm hoping you're able to try again soon and that you can get some good answers on DH!! The waiting around just sucks

Mamabird - yea I think I'm just going to try both. I'll tell my OBGYN I'm going to do it - maybe not the RE though since she doesn't seem to approve
I'm hoping AF doesn't come at all and I ovulate and get pregnant! The idea of facing a fruitless period after the last few months feels agonizing.

And yup, sounds like hyperfertility to me! I have some links if you're interested! That is one of the other big signs of it -- super regularity, even after full term births and losses. I've even been thinking about how I was an extremely low weight with my anorexia as a kid and still had a regular period; back in the day, losing your period was a necessary element to get diagnosed, but I got diagnosed because I had every other symptom (I think my BMI got as low as 15 something? I know my lowest weight was roughly 90lbs at 5'6") and they thought my periods still hanging around were because of my hypothryoidism. Now I look back and think, "Omg, it was the hyperfertility!" I thank myself all the time for being as paranoid about protection as I was in high school

As for DH's sperm health, I can't remember if we talked about it? I think I talked about it with someone else on here. DNA sperm fragmentation/oxidative stress damage can't be detected in a normal SA, and is what's responsible for the male part of loss. A man can have a totally normal semen analysis but still have issues with that! It's a specific test that can be ordered through a doctor (Reprosource is one of the companies that does it). In our case, my DH DID have a red flag SA, but no REs cared enough to pursue it and I had to be the one to push for more testing after our first IVF cycle revealed sperm issues.

CD19. Still cramping, still breaking out (have been for the last few days), less CM. The cramps seriously feel like menstrual cramps.

The latest I've ever ovulated was CD21, but that was back when I was breastfeeding a bunch a day and was within like 8 months postpartum.

Are these menstrual like cramps still possibly gearing up for O? Has anyone ever had these?

Just a quick update from my miscarriage a few weeks ago. I got our baby's chromosomes came back. It was in fact XO, which is Turner syndrome which is a common cause of miscarriage. My OB has sent for chromones four times and three have been positive for Turners. So it may be more common than originally thought. It is very nice knowing it truly wasnt my fault. You can tell it to yourself, but i finally can believe it now. Second plus is my sway worked technically. Negative is that im starting hcg level blood draws because im 16 days post d&c and still testing positive on hpt.

I got too excited too soon. Apparently it was just a chemical pregnancy. Positive pregnancy tests lasted about one week. Then intense cramping and blood. Back to square one...

False alarm for me. Woke up gushing CM and got a blazing positive OPK just now lol.

@HGmama: I'm so sorry for your losses. I definitely know how you're feeling. Knowing the babies never had a chance sort of helps, though it all still hurts. Have you guys had a karyotype done at all? We spoke with a geneticist after having two Trisomy 8 boys and they said they do start to raise their eyebrows a bit when you start getting the same chromsomal abnormality over and over. Our karyotypes were normal though.

@nonerz: Don't think you got excited too soon! Most people end up with happy stories from BFPs. It's totally normal and reasonable to be excited. It sucks to be the other side of that statistic I am so sorry for your loss.
