Well ladies, DH and I screwed up (literally...). We BD-d last night unprotected - totally unplanned - a combination of my having some wine and feeling depressed over everything again and DH really wanting to DTD (and he gave me a long massage beforehand - LOL, Pbn just like what happened to you!). This was totally NOT planned - I do not want to get pregnant this cycle and now I'm completely terrified that we will. I've been taking wondfo opks the past few days only b/c I wanted to know what's going on w/ my cycle and when I ovulate, and up through this afternoon they are still negative, but I'm terrified I'm going to O in the next couple of days giving us a very good shot at getting pregnant (I'm super fertile - usually get pregnant on the first try and have gotten pregnant w/1 attempt more than once now). I'm also terrified b/c DH abstained for 7 days (also very unintentional) and with our m/c history and him turning 35 this summer I'm SO worried if we do get pregnant baby will not be healthy and/or we'll just be headed for another m/c. I had a good cry this afternoon and DH is trying to calm me down. I just totally lost my head last night for a few minutes - which I never do when it comes to this! Our baby-making has always been so careful and planned out. Been praying throughout the day and trying to leave it all up to God but I'm so upset with myself. DH keeps telling me if it happens and baby sticks then it's meant to be.

Ugh. Anyways... So I may be joining you guys in the tww in a few days from now.. But not happily :'(

As i see it, there's nothing to do about it now. Its either too early or it's going to be your healthy baby girl. Anxious to see your opks in the coming days.

Ahhh, that cheapie would make me nervous too. Lol, well stress can delay ovulation and you're already doing that?! I do want to stress: no batch of semen is completely imperfect fyi. Even my own husband with his cluster**** of sperm still has popped out a good one occasionally! So I know that we with RPL and GD have this complex batch of emotions: fear and anxiety over loss, than fear and anxiety over the gender (and sometimes in reverse priority, which I admit is true in my case still). But you could still get that good sperm, and it could still be that good X!

OR -- you won't get pregnant since you're still some days away from O, since even if you got a positive OPK tonight or tomorrow, you wouldn't O until at least a day or so after too, right?

I'm crossing my fingers for you. I know I've been in your place before and have gotten pregnant, and had a loss. But I'm also exceptionally unlucky, and I refuse to believe you will fall into the same misfortune as me!


@praying4girl: As for the "someone makes better plans," I'm happy that some of you can believe that if it helps you. Just please know that those comments can come off as insensitive for those of us with loss. Hearing that the unbearable pain I've been through losing 10 babies is somehow ordained is quite hurtful.

Sorry if it came across insenstive as i was not referring to the losses at all. I was talking if it were to lead to a pregnancy for ABc.
I have been through alot of losses, one at 3 weeks old so I for sure know not to be insensitive about my comments intentionally.

Agree Parying4agirl. I know you wasn’t being insensitive as I know abc knows that as well. As we all have been through losses. I do believe in the good lord above and turn to him for all my troubles. He’s always answered my prayers even if it wasn’t the way I wanted, he always knows what is best for me. I will never deny him for anyone. People either accept that of me
Or they don’t. I’m not here to please people, I’m here to please the lord. ABC knows we care about her and would never be insensitive toward her. Nor would I anyone else.

Thanks, friends. All of your support and care is so important to me and I'm very grateful for all of you!!!

Digital is still negative with afternoon urine and Wondfo is about the same as this morning's. I think it's looking more unlikely to happen. Given that I usually ovulate 1-2 days (and sometimes longer) after +OPK, and we're already 40+ hours from the attempt, the odds are going to be low. Not impossible, but low, and I'm praying and hoping that if it happens, it was just meant to be, and that it will result in a healthy baby girl. Right now I'm just watching and waiting and trying not to drive myself crazy in the meantime!! LOL easier said than done.
