Thanks pbn and girlsway! I tested this morning on a cheapie and it was negative but it was only a 25miu one. I've got a better one for when I get home from work! I think I'm only 8dpo though so wouldn't that be too early? I do feel different though..

I waited until 9dpo to even test, but that was a cheapie too. It was negative at when you are supposed to read it, but when i went back hours later there was a squinter, probably evap. Then the next morning it was obviously a faint line and a line on a FRER.

Mummy2boys can you get an frer for tomorrow? Or keep the sample you use to test with your cheapie tomorrow morning and if you think you see something get an frer and dip it into the same sample? It's definitely possible it could be a legit line even at 8dpo. Very, very early for pos on a cheapie but not impossible.

Thanks ladies, I can't get a frer by tomorrow but have one arriving from Amazon on Thursday. Will test in the am with a cheapie and keep you updated!

Hey girls can I join?
Unintentionally in the tww- not meant to ttc until June but dh did not pull out in time and now I'm having ewcm and cramps so very well might be ovulating shortly.

Just had a month off diet and exercise and temping for our holidays after 1 year on it and now this.
Trying to stay positive but after one sway opposite already it's hard.
Fingers crossed you all get your bfps and I maybe get some more time on diet and exercise before mine x

Hi and welcome kittendreams! I have seen so many 'oopsies' result in girl that I would be feeling quite hopeful if you do get a bfp. Plus after a year on the diet, I cant imagine one month would make a 'major' difference? Maybe letting go is exactly what you needed [emoji3] And it would be only one attempt right?! So what will your attempt end up being if you are about to o?

It will be 3-4 days before o- the attempt was pm on cd 16 and My o date is cd 19-20 so not great odds but I am super fertile so it's possible!
I have no idea what came over dh! It was the last day of our holidays and he'd had a bit to drink I actually had to pull him out sorry tmi!!! We've been using withdrawal method successfully for 12 years! I couldn't believe it. I had even said to him earlier in the day I think I might be ovulating soon due to increased cm.
We had not had sex for ages ( camping with two little boys lol) and he said it had been over a week since he'd released so we had abstain in our favour but also not good either since he is 38.
Trying to be zen but it's so hard!
Today is cd 18 heaps of cramps and ewcm so just waiting to o eek!
Is there anything I can do now to sway girl? I ridiculously started back on diet and exercise yesterday hoping that would help lol!

I'm going to read back over all you lovely ladies posts to catch up where you all are... fx for sticky beans for everyone xx

kittendreams - Welcome! Oh my goodness we have a lot of similarities between us! I've been swaying a year now as well - except with a few "breaks" as over that time I've had 3 pregnancies that ended in early miscarriages. My last one was in early March and I've been back on the diet (although not as strict) for the past 4 weeks or so and DH and I had an "oops" on Friday night (which never happens as we are very careful when not ttc!), and we were not planning on trying until next month or even June so I could be back on the diet longer and get Clomid again. I think I probably O-ed today so our attempt will be O-4 but I too am super fertile and get pregnant very easily. He also had abstained for 7 days (he's almost 35), so all of this has me very nervous too! I also have two little boys!

I've become more zen over it in the past day or so though - as I told the ladies on here yesterday if it happens I'm going to believe it was meant to be and if it doesn't, I'll be relieved and we'll go back to our plan I really don't think in my case it'll happen this time anyways. But as Pbn said, lots of "oopsies" here have resulted in girls!

You are very welcome here!! I've been on the TTC/TWW wait board since last July - although I don't plan on really leaving it if/when I am pregnant as I love following everyone's TTC journey!!

Welcome, kittendreams! I will keep my fingers crossed that your ovulation is delayed this month, although as many people said you still have decent chance of a girl. And spontaneity / not cleaning could be in your favor there. As for Girl Diet after the attempt, I think atomic suggest keeping true to the diet for a week after the attempt because it may help with implantation for a girl. Does anybody else remember details on that? I'm in the week after my attempt and I'm trying to stick to the diet to keep those chances of a girl as high as possible.

And you are right we have so much in common and it really helps to know others are feeling the same emotions.
Gafan thank you I hope it is too but I figure like you said sticking to the diet can only help now.
