Hi ladies,
I just wanted to update this because even though AS and I have been discussing on my private thread, I want to make sure anyone else who might experience something similar gets some reassurance.
I did take an LH test and it was very clearly positive. I had a very strong cramp sensation, like period pain all evening yesterday. It was not on one side like my ovulation pain but felt like BAD cramps across my pelvic area. DH and I were planning on dtd but I felt so terrible and nauseas that I decided to just sleep and let whatever was happening to me take its course. And, come to think of it, it was not just pelvic pain, my lower back was really hurting too!
Backtracking a bit...since I was supposed to ovulate last month, I have had very unusual (for me) discharge which looked to me like ewcm but the timing was really weird as well as the amount. Now, I normally produce a lot of ewcm but since I started swaying the amount has decreased. But what I was seeing was a lot. It was after "supposed" ovulation AND it lasted pretty much until today. So, I assumed I must have some kind of yeast infection. I don't often get YI though since I cut dairy out of my diet. I took an anti-fungal pill once I confirmed I was not pregnant (so day 28 test since it was very clearly negative) and I did a boric acid insert which my ob/gyn suggested years ago to use for YI (but I don't think you can use it if pregnant which is why I was waiting for the test result). Even with the pill and the insert, the discharge did not go away. So I went to the Dr and he said maybe it is BV. Well, I have never had BV so I was a bit worried cause then I started googling and saw BV was possibly tied to PID. (Sometimes google is *such* a bad idea...). So, of course, given I was having bad pelvic pain, I thought, I must have somehow gotten PID. Maybe from swimming too much in the ocean on my holiday last month?? No clue. Definitely not from an STD. I know it sounds nuts from me to think maybe PID but this pelvic pain was so abnormal for me, and come to think of it, it started around week 3 of my cycle (making me get my hopes up it was implantation pain). I get very minor cramping during AF but typically only one or two days not days and days on end. And, because the pain wasn't localized, it didn't even occur to me it could be OV because for me, my ovulation pain is usually one-sided.
Ok, on with my long story...so my vaginal swab turned up negative for BV and yeast and everything else he tested for. And I know they had a very good sample cause I did the sample collection myself and made sure I got some of the discharge.
Atomic said this all sounded like hormones causing me to produce ewcm as my body was trying to gear up to ovulate. I think she was bang on correct! Why? Because I woke up this morning and the discharge was gone AND the pain is gone and I feel pretty normal again (no nausea). DH and I had an attempt late today, we probably missed OV but worth a shot anyway. LH test is still positive as of today. Not that it really means anything as it could stay positive after I ovulate and the test is reading the number on the way down.
Thank you 4blue for your support and thank you to AS!!! for your help. I have to say, I went into the custom plan thinking paying for the plan was all I really needed but the coaching you have given me and the reassurance is truly priceless. Things really make sense and it's so impressive how well you can piece together what is happening from these threads. You're definitely a swaying guru!

Thank you 4blue! Honestly, even if no BFP, if I just get my period back in a couple weeks I will be very happy! At least then we can try again!
