    Lenghten a short LP?

    Help!!
AF just arrived on cd25, and by temp tracking and opks I would estimate O day on cd15/16...

Been on the LE diet for 8-9 weeks now, aiming for 2100-2200 cals and 40-60g of fat and protein.

Should I still up my fat intake, Atomic?
Or rather add eggs and full fat dairy as to improve fertility? Would this also help to lenghten the LP?
Out first attempt should be about June!

That is long enough to get pregnant. Keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about your LP provided you re eating that much FOR SURE not counting the fat or protein in fruits and vegetables, and not counting anything in low carb vegetables (not even calories.) if you end up eating 50-60 g fat, that's totally fine and allowed.

You may want tto drop fiber if you were using it.

Are you doing the full fat dairy and 4-6 eggs a week? If not, do.

My BMI ist now 20,5-20,6 (depending on which day of the cycle I am).
Still losing weight, but very slowly.

I think I‘m cutting out too much on fat, there were days when I‘ve reached 2200 cals but only 35-40g fat, and then I didn’t know what to do.

Before the LE diet my cycle always were 28-30 days with a 11-13 days LP, therefore I am a little worried that 9-10 days is too short

I‘m not using fiber anyway because I don‘t eat much white carbs but try to eat whole grain and veggies and fruit for every meal.

I tried to drink more full fat dairy, but obviously not enough

And the eggs...you mean them to be eaten in addition to the cal/protein/fat limits or within?

You should not be losing any more weight. BMI 21 is where I want you to stop losing and hold steady.

Eat more fat. In the Dream Members section there is a thread called "quick fixes for diet disasters" that has a lot of ideas in it for getting fat without other things like protein along with it. YOu may also need to switch out some cals of carbs for cals of fat.

I understand it's alarming to see your LP shorten on LE Diet but it's not unusual. 10 days is still long enough to conceive with, and what's more, just becaus you have a short LP in one month doesn't mean that will be the case next month. So do eat some more fat (the full fat dairy, eggs combintion is a good one!) and I suspect things will be back on track soon.

If you're already drinking the dairy, just do the eggs. You don't have to have 10 servings a day or anything, just more than you were having.

If you can fit the eggs in the limits, do so (remember, you have up to 60 g protein and fat you could be having) but if you have to exceed them, that's fine too. The important thing is stopping that weight loss and not letting LP get any shorter.

Okay, you‘ve calmed me down now.
I will try 2400 cals and try to get to the 60g protein and fat EVERY day. There where days with only 30-40g fat, I suppose for my body thats too low to keep all hormones and the milk supply going.

Would you think it’s enough to sway pink if I was eating LOWER than I was when having the boys? Both boys were concieved at a weight of 149lbs and now I am at 136lbs.

Because... 2400 cals doesn‘t look to me like I’m doing the LE diet anymore
    Or am I just a „fast burner“? )

ALL that matters is that you were eating less than you have been recently, and to a lesser extent than when you got your boys. I had to make a diet with the limits and totals because people wanted me to (when we didn't ahve the limits, people starved themselves) but I never wanted to assign any numerical values to it at all, just wanted people to eat less than they were. There has never been any study done that proved that intake sways, it is simply what I made up based on the lower end of a normal pre-pregnancy diet. You are doing fine! You are nursing and you have a fast metabolism, so you need more than someone who is not in that group.
