Emshe just in case you respond, I'm out for a bit now but just checking this isn't the first time you used the cb advanced this cycle as it always starts with an open circle as it needs to establish base levels to start from so an increase in these levels is what it uses to go to flashing and then solid. They need to be used daily and with fmu until at least flashing smiley then can be used again same day. Sorry, I'm sure you likely knew all this but just in case...

No that helps! To be honest I’m not sure if it was my pre used handle or a used one, I’ll try with fmu tomorrow. Hopefully something shows up then.
What an earth would I do without you ladies, i don’t even want to think about that!

Doesn't matter if its a used one as once you get a solid smiley it stays fixed for 48 hours then the tester head automatically resets back to zero as such when a new test stick is put in, so your empty circle today simply signals the tester head recognising the beginning of a new cycle [emoji4]. You'll always know when it's a new cycles reading as the test window will show a flashing 'book?' symbol when the test stick is first entered. So while its not ideal that your first reading is based on an 11am urine sample it still should work ok plus you'll have your dip tests as back up [emoji4] Just be sure to use your cb advanced digi opks daily from now on and with fmu. Don't be surprised if its a flashing smiley tomorrow morning as your sample at 11am today may have been a little diluted and therefore it may pick up more increase in estrogen/lh than it would have otherwise. But it's all good emshe!! It will still work out perfectly [emoji3] For future reference though you may want to just get the regular cb digis as they give either an open circle or solid smiley result only and don't take estrogen into account, just lh. OR get advanced digis vut start them with fmu the morning of cd11 or 12 if with a clomid cycle. Fwiw I was a big fan of the cb advanced digis but understand they're not for everyone. I loved using fmu and not doing holds/limiting fluids etc and they were bang on accurate for me [emoji4]

Oh and I edited my previous post after you quoted about testing again same day. I had said you can only do this once you have solid smiley but it was meant to say flashing smiley....
So to explain further.. if you suspect you have a short surge then once you get a flashing smiley on the cb advanced you can test again the same day to see if it turns solid (and therefore indicates peak lh) I used to some cycles use both the advanced digi and dip tests and if my 1-3pm dip test looked pos I'd retest with my digi. When doing this though I'd 8 times out of 10 ovulate (by temps) within 24-48 days later meaning in my case I never experienced a short surge. If I'd stuck only with using the advanced digi it pretty much would always give me a 1-o attempt [emoji23]
When I conceived my dd though (unintentionally) I'm pretty sure it must've been a 2-o attempt (a guesstimate because surely it wouldn't have been more than this and I find it hard to believe I'd o earlier... ) so go figure lol. I definately conceived previously from 1-o attempts though..Last edited by Pbn3; May 31st, 2018 at 04:20 AM.

Hey everyone, yesterday I really believed i was seeing a verrrrry faint line on a frer but the line wasn't showing in any pics so i couldnt post for opinions. That meant that I spent a good bit of time googling indents and evaps and went to bed believing it may have been an evap.
This morning my temp shot up and I was sure that if it was a true positive then the test line would be darker but it's still sooooooooo faint but I think I managed to get a decent pic to get your opinions. I did tweak the pic a bit as it was still hard to see. The line came up within the 3 mins, it's just so light.
I'm really fearful that I either have line eyes or they're evaps. I came across an article where a lady had lines looking like mine and they were all evapsBUT I still am hoping that because I was able to capture a pic that maybe it means it truly is darker today and the hcg is just still low ? Ahhh I feel so crazy. If this turns out to be an evap, I won't test early again lol
