If you want don't want to use opks to do multiple attempts at pos opk or chart etc the least stressful way is to dtd eod through to when you're sure you've oed if that's possible. So bd every 48 hours. This pattern sways strongly blue but isn't commonly suggested as eod can often be too hard to keep up. If you're quite sure dh and yourself can stay the course then that would be my recommendation. It's great for those who have a short - normal cycle (up to 30 days) but any longer and it is usually too hard. It's very important to keep to every 48 hours if you are going to do it. So if your cycle is 30 days I'd suggest dtd cd8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and maybe 20 to be absolutely sure.

How long is your cycle usually?

Thanks, I've just been reading into the eod method a little more, I'm not 100% certain we'd be able to keep up to the eod but I'm sure he'd love to try [emoji23]

My cycle is generally between 30-33 days, it's seemingly is very sensitive to stress and/or anxiety about ttc too.

I'm open to doing temps but will need to invest in a bbt thermometer asap if I decide to do that but it's really only effective if there's multiple cycles to compare.

    My update :
So I suspect I ovulated yesterday evening (CD 33), and hence today's temperature was very important to confirm that! And as luck would have it, I'm in a world of ambiguity!
I went to bed at 2 am last night. Woke up at 4.45am to pee. Took my BBT before getting up to the bathroom. Temp was around 96.7 (close to yesterday's temp). I went back to sleep and woke again at 6.50 am. I temped again, without waking up and it showed a spike of 97.4, which would likely confirm yesterday's ovulation. I usually temp around this time. But will this be accurate, given it was after only 2 hours of sleep? If I go with the earlier 96.7 temp, then it does not confirm ovulation. CB tested negative yesterday night, and strips showed positive during the day yesterday. CD 32 was my first +ve OPK.
Here is my chart below, by logging in the higher temp. Based on my OPK s, and CM, I do believe I might have O yesterday. But the inconsistency between the two Temps confuses me! What do I go with?

I kind of feel like you should disregard the temp all together. Life happens HDP. If you think you Oed, then you probably did. That temp pattern is not reliable, no matter what. Sometimes you just are sleep deprived or forget. Let life happen and say the deed is done.

HDP I don’t think that temp would be reliable on 2 hours sleep but maybe you could do e4d from now?

How frustrating! Always the way when you want that perfect temping, sorry it didn’t happen. I think you probably o’d but e4d from here is probably a good idea just to cover yourself!?

I’ve read that wonky cycles are great for conceiving girls HDP [emoji8]

HDP I agree with the others and would either disregard the temp or leave it as is with a note indicating it's not reliable. Either way its likely you oed and a temp tomorrow in post o range will confirm it happened either yesterday or today anyway. Like the others mentioned too, maybe plan on bding again 72 hours from last attempt just as back up? It's incredibly frustrating when this happens but it does and to us all [emoji17] You know you've oed and it will simply be a matter of being out by 1dpo possibly which is nothing in the scheme of things [emoji4]

I'll do that, thanks. I actually really hate temping. The anticipation (close to O), makes my sleep restless, and I wake up too much because we co sleep with my kicking toddler. I can't wait to ditch this! I think I'm finally in the 2WW. Fx! When do I start testing for pregnancy?
