oh poor thing with all the nausea in your pregnancies... I'm actually looking forward to that bc I was never sick with my girls and hope that if I'd feel different, it's also the opposite gender lol. But I can imagine that a holiday wouldn't be fun when sick (and having 4 kids running around haha)! how old are your girls? Mine are 5,4,2 so still a good deal of
I for sure am going for it next ovulation. I find the eating so much and having so many drinks and the supps and doing exercise and thinking of everything quite hard. So I hope the sway works out fast and I get a baby boy soon! AND I'm almost 35. So, no time to waste.
I'll be ovulating around the 13th.

Yeah, ask her! (you have to make a new thread) I also would like know whats the difference between collagen and gelatine in a nutritional aspect.
    (thank you atomic!)

MY girls are 10,8,almost 7(july 10) and my youngest turned 3 in May... theyre all pretty calm kids for the most part.. thank god.

I would be ecstatic to not have the sickness this time around.. i would automatically assume it was a boy or there was no baby growing in there for real. haha It sucks when absoleutely NOTHING helps... and no relief even after throwing up. I lost 10-15lbs with each one of my pregnancies, which this time.. i could afford to lose. Im about 15 lbs over what i wanna be right now anyway. maybe wouldnt be a bad thing.. but no, its not fun... i feel like a bad mom to my other kids when all i wanna do is lay around. I need to get that all out of my head and i have before.. obviously -- have done it 4 other times... but this time i am fully preparing myself and thinking about it to much

Strange it seems that none of my recent posts did appear

Anyway, I too have had nausea for both my pregnancies tkelly, but the worst was with DD1, I went through EVERY symptom, a by-the-book pregnancy if you can call it that. Each month there was something new to add to the list. Also, the placenta was weird and there were legitimate fears at the second trimester of it not being able to support the baby to the end

DD2 was a walk in the park despite the nausea.

But for both I remember the intense stomach burns. I never did have stomach aches before so I was quite stressed out when it started. It's something I'm certainly NOT looking forward to and like aira, I hope this one will be different in lots of good ways. I'd like to know the kind of pregnancies my friends always talk about, with minimal symptoms and energy to spare

My girls are 3 and 2. Lots of work haha !

Hey girls, how are your diets going? I'm slowly getting used to the amount of food. Also getting a routine with the daily to do list
I noticed something. since I'm on this diet, I somehow lost my sweet tooth!! Do you feel the same? I stopped craving chocolate and cake and want burgers and fries lol. maybe it's because I don't have low blood sugar episodes anymore.
I had my first garlic clove today and just want to warn you guys DON'T chew it up raw. I thought it couldn't be that bad but it IS! lol
    (thank you atomic!)

I crush my garlic into tiny peices and put into my food when its almost done cooking.. that way its still pretty raw, but its small and its mixed with other food.. example - burgers :-p

Love me some burgers and fries!! I am doing fine on the diet since its pretty much what i already eat like. CD5 here! should ovulate sometime within the next week. EEEEKKKK!!! not completely sure we're ready this month so may put it off another month of two. We'll see how it plays out.

I do have somewhat of a dilemma when it comes to the diet. I know Magnesium sways girl, but i have had bloodwork done and am on the very low end( having alot of symtoms of defient magnesium) so, now i have supps but am hesitant to take them.. maybe ill wait til the TWW? Ugh. so hard bc i want these symtoms of feeling horrible to go away but dont want to mess up my sway either.

OMG, I had this garlic taste in my mouth for 2 days!! lol I mix it into food now

I'm excited tkelly!!! please keep us updated!

I'm waiting for AF to arrive next week so things are slowly getting serious here as well.

I think atomic said that minerals probably don't sway. So if you need them to feel better I wouldn't hesitate. But if you believe in the mineral idea and your symptoms are not too bad, then wait till TWW. May help with implantation cramping as well
Maybe Sora can tell us more on the Magnesium idea, I think she is following a mineral based diet.?
    (thank you atomic!)

You're trying to keep an eye on the minerals too tkelly or have you read something on the forum about magnesium ? Cause I read that atomic don't believe in calcium swaying pink anymore (but potassium would still help with blue). Was there some post I missed ?

I'm not quite sure magnesium sways cause I've always been very low on it when conceiving my girls. If you feel you miss it too much, maybe listen to your body and take the supps ? It wouldn't do for you to conceive while feeling weak...

Still on the fence about calcium though. I miss milk and all but calcium was one of the minerals I always had in huge amounts and it didn't help with the blue dust at all haha ! And as I often said, most of my friends with boys absolutely hate dairy, with the exception of the cheese on pasta/pizza. It's an all out war to have them drink hot chocolate or get them near a fondue or even some kind of yoghurt. Can't help but think that had I been more like them, I would already have my baby boy now.

i thought i read somewhere on there that magneisum shouldnt be higher than calcium and potassium but maybe that was debunked? i decided to start taking it anyway... it says to take 4 a day, but im just taking 1 or 2 for now. Should ovulate by the end of the week. I am feeling the pressure and so nervous. As much as i dont wnat to find out the sex of the baby if i get pregnant, i am not one to be patient when it comes to that stuff so i wonder if i can hold out. HAHA!!! i dont want to be disapointed even though i know i would get over it quickly and how cool of a surprise would that be. EITHER way... to wait. so exciting.

My doc said that whatever you do, potassium should be the highest one BUT not to miss magnesium and calcium, just make sure they are lower than potassium. I guess the "forbidden" foods in FGD diet (and some other diets) are taken away NOT because eating one would magically sway pink but because it brings the most cal/mag and also, since it was swayers favorite food before the diet, you risk them being tempted to eat them in great amounts rather than force themselves to eat, say, two steaks or 9 servings of fruits/veggies.

Hi.. I'll be TTC this December and will be swaying for a boy. Will start serious diet by September. For now am taking my women's one a day pill and fish oil, single dose... The thing I am worried is one a day has 380 mg elemental calcium.. Even during my earlier pregnanc ies doctor prescribed only 120 mg... Isn't it too much calcium... I am not planning to avoid calcium but don't want to take huge doses.. Please correct me if I am doing this wrongly
