Same country but a looong way apart. I'm some 600kms from the Qld/Nsw border. Would be several thousand kms from Tassie..

Hope the bushfires aren't affecting you strawberrybella, they are terrible events and the ones you have in the US always look so bad [emoji22]

Emshe going to see Newcastle and the Hunter Valley (to visit the wineries [emoji12]) will probably be me and dh's first holiday together since our honeymoon [emoji23] few years away yet but maybe when Mara is 5 and nanny can come and stay for a few days [emoji6]

Tassie is great, people are generally really friendly and it takes just over 4 hours to drive from one end of the state to another! [emoji23] much simpler at times in every aspect of the word, good place to bring up kids I think. Just move during the summer time and you'll adjust. We were in Sydney during January, when the temperature said 30s to us it felt more like mid 20s because here we have a dry burning heat, rather harsh.

I love knowing there's a couple of Australians amongst us

Things are great! We have our bad days where the boys do my head in with their non stop fighting but they are both so adorable with their sister [emoji173] their favourite thing is making her laugh [emoji7] Definately surreal still and I really am enjoying every minute (for the most part [emoji23])
