Verena, I will join you: after swaying hard for 9 months, we are expecting our DS3 in November! It was very obvious at our 20 week scan last week and I have good and bad days. Cried a lot this morning when I told my mum. She was very comforting and did not judge me which made me cry even more. I am also with you that I feel that everybody is getting their DG at the moment. Don‘t get me wrong:I am very happy for everyone getting their DG but it is just hard to accept that I will most likely never have a daughter (I am 39 an will turn 40 this year). Bis hug to you! What helps you to cope with your disappointment?

Constantly crossing my fingers for you Mamabird. I'm glad things are staying somewhat stable for now -- and I echo atomic. I know in a lot of my immune groups, even the women with clotting disorders are often told to go off of baby aspirin once an SCH forms!
I can't wait until you're 24 weeks!

Palaenopsis I'm sorry you belong to the unlucky 20-30% as well. Big hugs to you too. It was very hard work to persuade DH to have a third and all the months or even years he said no, I didn't even think about gender, I just wanted another baby. I think this is helping me a bit now too. And I already had very bad GD with DS2 and after he was born I realized that every child is so different and gender is just one facette of thousands of a child. That makes it easier for me this time as well because I'm sooo curious to discover how this little man will be.
But what helps me most is that I'm fooling myself a bit by thinking there is a chance for a fourth although realistically DH would get divorced immediately if he even knew I'm thinking about a fourth ;-) I even made the plan to start LE diet again once baby is fully weaned. This somehow takes away the finality of never having a daughter. Maybe this could help you a little bit as well? I think it's not at all impossible to conceive at 40 or 41. There are so many examples for this on this board...
GD really sucks and I hope we will both be able soon to enjoy our pregnancies completely!

Thank you so much girlsway! That picture really melted my heart and he looks exactly like DS2 on his early 3D pictures. Can't wait to see how he aligns with DS1 and 2 when he arrives in December.
Wow, 24 weeks already! I'm always very relieved to reach that milestone. And that means only 16 more weeks to go! How are you feeling? I'm still in the short phase where nausea is almost gone and belly is still small enough to not be constantly exhausted [emoji1320]

It’s honestly one of the best scan pictures I’ve seen!
I’m feeling ok thank you verena, it’s really hot here in London so that’s quite hard as im feeling quite huge this time (had a random woman asked me if I’m having twins, why do people think that’s ok?!) but otherwise doing well and glad to be out of the nausea phase!2014

I feel you girlsway, it was so hot here in northern germany as well. I get water retention in the legs already and my OB prescribed me beautiful support stockings [emoji85] I'm glad it's a bit colder at the moment.
Can I ask those of you who have been on LE diet, do you also struggle with weight gain so badly? I've already gained about 15 lbs. I'm not eating unhealthy stuff, but am just SO hungry all the time. And after being on the diet for so long I guess my body stores as much as possible...

I was on the LE diet for 2 years. Stopped before my ivf cycle only. I've only gained 10 pounds so far. I am 23 weeks. I've only just started to get super hungry. Maybe growth spurt!
Hoping to only gain 25 pounds. I usually gain around 40 but since I'll probably be delivering in September I doubt I'll get that far. We are shooting for 34-36 week delivery.

So a little off topic but has anyone been referred about a dodgey mole before? I’ve been referred today and it’s really worrying me, especially being pregnant. I just hope everything is ok
