I know what you mean, GG - the few times I've had to shop in the girl section for gifts or whatever, I feel so out of place, like everyone's looking at me like an imposter. I hope someday I can shop in those sections for real and feel like I belong.

I sooo hope so too, Mocha!!! I went into my local consignment shop here in town and had a look at all their cute girlie things....I felt like I didn't belong. It was exactly like you described above...an imposter. The lady that owns the store knows me really well(I was at the birth of her third child)and she approached and said, "Do you know if it's a girl???", all excitedly! I said, "no...just looking"...I felt like an idiot...
I am praying to the gender Gods above that we all get our girlies(and boys). It seems that our November chat is filled with Boy moms...all hoping for a GIRL I think we are having some great luck! We need to keep a tally

YAY GG!! And I would totally feel the same as you shopping in the girl section!
My hubby says "you know what is gonna happen is we get a girl and it is gonna look like Pepto Bismal threw up in our house!!"
I have told him it won't be that bad.....there are other colors we could throw in there you know...not just all pink! To which he said "yeah but your sister aready said that she would take care of all the pink....so you know it is gonna happen!"
I have just decided to go with boy and be done with it....but it would be a nice surprise!

Mocha--You WILL be shopping in the pink. Exactly how I felt..like an impostor.
DM--I have a similar story cause I saw an old colleague today when I was looking at baby clothes and I quickly left the area. I didn't want her to suspect anything cause I knew she would ask if I know what we're having.
Princesssarah I agree, I wont get too many pink things...I never liked that color much growing up. Lavender is nice right ?

YES IT IS!! I'm a lover of all colours! I don't like pastels for the most part, but I'm game for most other colours I LOVE purples, teals, greens, oranges, red, dark pink(fushia) etc. I love bold colours on kids I play with yarn dyeing as well as spinning my own wool, and some of the colours that you can dye wool are incredible!! Oh GG! I'm just so envious that you get to buy girl stuff now!!! I want to, too!!!! Harumph.
I keep getting these great thoughts that all of us on here are going to be in the pink gang...and ladies from IG will be clambering to get over here to see how it's done I just get a good feeling about all of us getting our pink bundles~~~ xoxo
