Thank you so much everyone! Still just totally in shock!! I had DH find out over the phone and then surprise me (accordingly, and as appropriate). So my response was secretly caught on camera with the good news! So happy that I could react in private, I’m sure I would have been a blubbering mess either way, but it was nice to not have any sort of expectations on me. Still not sure how to break the news to others though, it’s still early but I’m showing enough that it’s time to tell. I seriously contemplated team green at the last minute. I was shaking so bad, I have such respect for those of you that can hold out. I have no self control or willpower.
Opposite symptoms all the way. They were all wrong with DS and now all wrong with DD (omg first time to type that!! Ahhhh!!)

And ladies, symptom wise: I am having KILLER heartburn. I had mild, normal HB towards the end with DD that was easily manageable... but this is pretty rough and I'm only 15 weeks. Has anyone experienced this before?!
I had awful heartburn from about 20w with DS1 and it was worse and started earlier with DS2 - from about 15weeks and was non stop the rest of my pregnancy. Have only had mild heart burn so far at 14 weeks, hoping it won't be so bad this time to make up for the horrible morning sickness.

Ohh kitten, you could have a Valentine's Day baby!! (I was almost one).

Though if she is your girl (which I feel she is!!!), she'll be like me -- every significant other always consolidating her gifts into one day or the other haha!

I'm hoping part of the reason is because you're having a girl!

I've read conflicting things on heartburn and OWT/gender. I've seen some say it means boys, others say girls -- but of course, the most general OWT is the 'hairy baby.' My mom had HB with all three of us girls, and we WERE all very hairy -- and I had practically none until maybe 38 weeks with DD and then acupuncture took care of it! And she was practically bald her whole first year. So who knows!

Did you find anything that helped the HB? I keep taking Tums, but I also am not sure if that's super healthy to take those daily?

I had terrible heartburn with both my boys. (I only say that to give you a hope that it's a boy, but don't think I've heard of it being an OWT) My OB gave me gaviscon. Not sure if that exists there? Or Mylanta (think I know that's in the US cuz DJ from full house always goes- oh mylanta, lol)

Both my boys had barely any hair. Even my 18 month old is just starting to get some thickness on top of his head. But I know a lot of people who did have hairy babies. I think really it's more from where the baby is sitting and pressing on, how it effects the digestion of your food.

I had zero heartburn with my boys and they both had a lot of hair

I think heartburn is from high progesterone - from what I've read all indigestion issues are usually from progesterone because it slows all the processes down. So maybe if your progesterone is higher you'll have more heartburn. I'm having allllllll kinds of tummy issues this time and heartburn. Actually almost every symptom I have when I Google it says it's a result of progesterone! So my level must be high still.
