ABC- thanks for hopping in to comment. I'm not sure what I want out of my doctor yet, maybe just opinions and a plan. I made an appt for Aug 1st. That will be CD 20 for me. I'm hoping that it will all be a great jinx and I will be getting a BFP just days after meeting with her. Wouldn't that be ideal??? Thank you for telling me your story. I would be open to clomid or femara, but by tracking my cycles, it does seem like I am ovulating so I don't know if clomid or femara is needed- but I didn't know it could help me LP. I too have a short LP, averaging 10-11. I am so within a normal range of cycle length, but my O is a different CD every cycle. I wouldn't mind it for the swaying though. I would like labwork. I feel like I am STRUGGLING with not losing weight and I am truly trying. I have gained 15 lbs since March's miscarriage. I also do think I need to get back on a TTC/pregnancy safe anti-depressant. I got off a non-safe one in November, but given my previous history of intrapartum and PPD, I might need it all the time now. So those are my goals. Back on meds and a plan to check me out post mc.
So back in December when I got my IUD out, I did tell her that I had a swaying for girl plan. I was doing IG things at that point as I had not found this site yet. I explained why I was taking Cal-Mag and Cranberry. She said "Cool, my sister did all the girl things when she was TTC a girl." So other than that, I don't think I will further talk about swaying. When making the appt, the nurse said, "are you having sex every other day?" I almost LOL. DH and I would never be able keep that up. Do I fib on how often I am BDing?

That sounds like a good plan with your doctor. Have you had your thyroid checked? I would def ask for that. Also I remember you saying (I think it was you!) that your doc is a pretty open/honest/blunt doc so that's cool you were able to talk to her about some of the swaying stuff and that she didn't think it was weird at all! My doc is a cool guy but I think if I told him I was doing things to try to "sway girl" he may have looked at me like I was totally crazy!! Although he's been in practice a long time and probably dealt with far crazier women so who knows!

I do think Clomid can help even in women who ovulate normally but it's definitely something you'd have to feel comfortable with. And of course I'm a prime example of Clomid's biggest "risk" - twins! So you have to factor that in as well. If you are ovulating already it could increase the odds of more than 1 egg being released.

Yea the frequency thing in terms of what to tell your doc is a little tough... I'm glad I never really got asked that question! But, you're doing every 72 hours or so right? While not every other day that's still a pretty good pattern I think so maybe you could just say every couple days, and explain that with your busy schedules the every other day thing is pretty tough? May have to fib a bit if asked how close to your +OPK you are BD-ing though.

If you really want to increase your odds next cycle too you could try E4D plus one attempt at +OPK? Seems to be recommended more often now by atomic and others and I saw atomic say the other day that lately 2 attempts really hasn't been much worse for a girl than 1. Your choice obviously, just an idea though.

HGmama it helped me bd in first positive opk, it was 2 days before ovulation. I did e4d +1 attempt at first positive opk. I was also eating 2 eggs weekly, 1x weekly salmon, full fat dairy (if u didnt try yet)

Noemi: that is very sweet of you for asking. I didnt want to bombard everyone with too many bfp pics lol. I used ic yesterday just to see line progression. Today I did a frer again. What makes me a bit worry is that it has been 2 days since i last used frer, but the line doesnt seem to be darker given HCG is supposed be getter darker every 2 days. It might look even slightly lighter [emoji45]

Congrats Shinay [emoji322][emoji322] So pleased for you. I’ve not been on for a week or so, so only just seen your bfp. Today’s line looks a tiny bit darker to me and your cheapie looks loads darker. Try not too worry too much, I know that’s impossible!

Shinay i see very good progression, tests are getting darker and darker, u are just 10dpo so for very strong positive wait few days

Shinay the IC looks very good and I think the FRER looks a tiny bit darker. Was today's test with FMU?
