Advice for next month. I know I should stop testing but I love POAS. Yesterday I got a smiley on CB and second lines on the others. Today I was curious if it was still positive and it actually looks like a real positive. Would I do my attempt yesterday or have waited until today. Top lines are from today. Bottom from yesterday afternoon.

Had our one attempt in today, Sunday, before DH left on his work trip! It's CD 17 for me and FF predicts O on CD 20. We will BD again on Thursday (CD 21) when DH is back. Fx that O occurs in a way that I still stand a chance for conception!
OPK is negative today!

Today's is definitely more positive and I'm surprised yesterday's showed positive on smiley. I would have said yesterday was negative and today positive.

Today's are significantly darker BUT that's not to say that an attempt yesterday wouldn't have put you in good standing. It's like rolling the dice and I don't think planning like this for next months cycle is super pink friendly. I only say this cause I did the EXACT same when we conceived our third boy [emoji173][emoji173]

I totally get it. I'm just new to opks and I don't understand when one would do the one attempt. It gave a smiley yesterday and today as well. So I was wondering if this is how it goes, do I listen to the smiley CB or wait for a true positive. The opks are all packed up for next month, but I don't want last minute scurrying around trying to figure out what to do. I'm not obsessing anxiously, I'm just trying to be prepared to know what to do. Like hindsight is foresight. If I would have known that it would be darkest today, would it be the one to go by.

So I got my new basal thermometer yesterday and put it to test today. And.... it's very much higher than my other one. Like .5-.7. I'm afraid I am going to lose all my essential data and temp curves...etc. advice? I am thinking about going to a special battery store to see if they have a new battery to see if that will work in my old one. Oh well. This month feels like a wash anyways. I kind of want to give up temping all together....but I think I'd regret that. Not that I'm too worried about my temps anyways, but it is valuable info especially after O.

Hgmama I'd continue with your new one for now. One temp wont tell you much. It may have just been one of those random higher temps? Tomorrows temp could be more in line with what you are used to seeing. Give it couple more days and go from there [emoji4]

Can someone please help me! I rarely do OPKs because they stress me out but my app says I am should be ovulating today but the OPK says negative. My hubby works out of town m-f so I am wondering (looking at these) if we should hold out for tomorrow morning or DTD today? Also we DTD Friday. Hoping for a little girl and was on 50mg clomid this cycle. My cycles are typically 39-30 days but last month the clomid extended it to 36 so now I’m all messed up! Any help would be so great! TIA

Boymom if your hubby will be out of town meaning your next attempt cannot be until friday when he gets home then DEFINATELY have an attempt Monday morning before he leaves. That at least gives you some chance. Your previous attempt on Friday gives you little to no chance if you o after Tuesday and those opks are still quite negative. They can change very quickly of course but I would still guess you're at least 2 days minimum away from the *possibility* of a pos. An attempt Monday morning will give you some chance if you o later in the week (Thursday) while he's away and be great timing if you o Tuesday, Wednesday. Good luck!
