Maybebaby ~ that's so sadI guess their babies didn't make it? i have a friend who was pregnant with her second daughter when i was expecting ds2 and she went into prem labour at 22 weeks and has since then lost another 2 babies and is now pregnant again.. she's just had her cervix stitched so hopefully her pregnancy will hold this time.
Happy birthday to your son today! i hope he enjoys his birthday!![]()
Inglewood ~ I definitely do believe i'm having a girl now since the odds of 3 scans being wrong is very slim, but i just worry that the worst is gonna happen, i go into premature labour or something goes wrong at the birth etc etc.. i'm always like this when i'm pregnant and worry about everything which is silly! i just want to hold my baby and know everything is alright![]()
aww i'm so jealous, april is the perfect month to have a baby i thinkwhen are you hoping to find out the gender of your babies? you will have so much fun shopping for twins!

How awful for ur friend Sunset and to the ladies you've met at classes Maybe, just so sad. Fx Sunset ur friend has a healthy pg this time. I worry alot too and think I have worried alot more since I found out there are 2 babies and the complications involved!! 2 girls at my work have lost twins over the yrs, one was 20wks with ID twins and the other I'm not sure, just after 12wks?? So I worry....Scary biscuits, so I try not to think about it too much and look after myself. Thankfully I am eating 75% 'normal' again and enjoying tomatoes and apples esp again after mths of not being able to eat them, although the heartburn after the tomatoes is nasty!! Taking peptac before and after eating them....lol
I have had oct and nov babies, so April will be a real change for me, really looking forward to it!! It will be nice buying for 2, but alot more expensive! That's another reason why I want to know boys/girls. Still sure it's boys, I obsess some days over my scan pics and think 1 is a boy and 1 maybe a girl.....lol. Although I know that's not the case, it's 1 or the other sex for both, the nubs to me look like that!! Looking forward to my scan on tues, wishing the days away to know they are ok more than anything....worrying..... But at 15wks5d, not holding out they will tell me the sex. Although it's the actual Twin Consultant scanning me, so Dh is gonna ask her for a rough idea on the sex, but joke that we won't hold her to it!!!
I can't believe my babies are the size of navel oranges today!!
Petal, thinking of you.... lots of hugs, ur little fella is almost here..... xx

Maybe/sun set that's very sad, one of my friends had her little girl at 23 weeks, she lived for 18 days bless her heart but passed away from a sudden infection, my poor friend has not been the same since. She two had a mc when I was pg with ds2 but has just given birth to a very healthy and happy baby boy a couple of weeks ago!
A few of my friends are cath fans as well, I'm not so much, I like girly but less floral!

I think putting the effort into trying to solve a future problem is sort of theraputic for me, although the obsessing probably isnt great for swaying but at least its focussing it into something hopefully good!
Sounds like you are on the right path, Im also going to focus on controlling my sugar levels as I think that is the key to pervent miscarriage in PCOS cases, even if that means it consistantly being lower rather than jumping all over the place. Think yoghurt is good for that, avoiding sugary stuff and fast releasing carbs so the IG diet is good for that.
Over night I feel like I just think we should ignore the seasons and start swaying now which would mean ttc around Christmas hols which may work in my favour as wont be working and will have OH around more to help out and the festive cheer may keep me happy and relaxed!
Going to buy supps later. I am thinking of only doing b6, baby asprin and maybe look into something for OH to take to lower testosterone/sperm count, will get him some nice heat pads for his little friends lol and some tight pants, oh how he is going to love that.
Will post a sway plan thread on the main board if anyone wants to check it out and offer tips. :-)

Thanks chocolate, we sound like we are on similar wave lengths with our swaying
Trying to find out if controlling the blood sugar levels means staying on the diet until a bfp, so basically constantly, just a few days after ov or till after implantation? Do you have any idea on this?

Some scary stories on here of ladies loosing bubs at the 20-30 weeks stage, i just cant imagine the pain. I knew someone who lost their at 27 weeks and had to give birth.... absolutely horrific. Can only pray and keep our fingers crossed that all our growing smog babies are happy and healthy full termers! X
Charlie, do you do upholstery? i am thinking of starting an upholstery course as i am a woodwork/textiles teacher so figure i have so ok skills for it. Have always fancied doing it just need to find the time! You are scarily leading a double life with one of my best friends who is an upholsterer, has 3 sons and is pg with number 4!
I used to love CATH but since they have opened one in my town, it is all anyone is buying and i kinda think you can definitely overdo the CK!! plus im not so keen on the floral either! Saying that her warehouse shop is on the way to my mums so loads of bargains to pick up!2007

I think I read someone saying that its a good idea to wait till after implantation as the environment still plays a role into if it sticks or not - something to do with the amount of glucose and the girl may fleet if its not in the right catergory.
I havent started the diet so can say Ill stick to it, and once pregnant probably still follow it but slowly introduce more nutrients and still eat dairy just incase as I dont think suddenly stopping anything is a good idea unless you really have to.
However, if Im still ttc a few months down the line I may need a few days break in the 2ww for sanity! For me, PCOS is about the sugar levels being irregular and high, so metformin dramatically cuts the miscarriage risk in women with PCOS, and the met is used to lower the blood sugar levels, which is why Im keen to keep them low rather than high through pregnancy.

Babymad- I remember a discussion on IG about m/c and gender and as far as I remember the research (unless it has changed) is that you can have a condition/ predetermination not to be able to carry boys but it wasn't the case for girls (thank goodness I thought, as I was thinking I was m/c girls). Anyway, I guess it doesn't matter either way, what will be will be but I really really hope this is your girl!
