    Amen, sister!

I don't consider it cheating at all. Men are visual creatures... I know he's going to look, so why not have it in a controlled environment?

Your story about your ex is pretty extreme, I think. I would definitely not like it if DH started doing those things! And good for you for turning the tables on him. I haven't ever looked at a guy site, but I doubt DH would care if I did. I went to see the Chipendales (sp?) dancers once, and he didn't care at all.

My only thought is, I never did this diet before and had 3 perfect pregnancies, so obviously it is not a must for me. And I definitely kept up my calorie intake, but a lot of that was sugary food, so I bet my blood sugar was off.... oh well. I will be better next time!!
It's so hard though when you really do feel pregnant. Onto December!

I don't have much time so will catch up later but I really need some advice!

My post O temps haven't been as high as they usually are and yesterday I had cramps all day. This morning I noticed alot of watery CM so decided to do a OPK just for the fun of it (I know, should have just ignored the watery CM) and it came up positive (8am). But even darker than the positive I got a few days ago. So now I am wondering did I actually O at all the other day or is this O coming up now? I just did another OPK (11am) and it is negative and fading out. Kicking myself that I didn't do an OPK yesterday when I had the cramps. So do you think if we DTD again tonight I am in girl territory? I don't want to miss an attempt but I don't want to risk girl territory either.

I used to work as an assistant manager in an adult store(did all the toy orders, prescreened movies etc, was on floor helping people find the right toys etc...boy have I got some good stories! LOL)and I'm pretty laid back when it comes to porn. My hubby and I have no issues with each other looking at it(we're not sex addicts or anything)and I know that in our relationship it causes zero problems. I do know of many couples where it hurt the relationship though Being open is so open important when it comes to that kind of thing.
OOOhh, I would love to hear some of your stories!!

Flava, I know what you mean about Christmas coming up. It is going to be so hard to resist eating all that yummy food. We do what we have to do though I guess!

3P1B, I think my diet is pretty simple. I just hate having to eat protein with every meal/snack. I can't wait to feel hungry again. I'm always full and just eating for the sake of it. Woo hoo for third trimester, that has gone so fast!

Hobbers, I don't mind my DH looking at porn either. We look at it together though mostly. One thing I don't like is strippers. He only ever goes to them on bucks nights but I hate the thought of them. I trust him completely I just don't trust them.

Lola, your ex sounds like a freak. Lucky he is an ex. At least you know IVF is there if/when you need it. How long do you think you will try naturally for?

DM, ita with you. It is so important to be open about that kind of stuff.

TTC5, I would show you my previous charts but I don't think they will come up with symptoms etc. on there as I'm not a paid member of FF. Can still show you if you like? LOL at your gorilla dream.

WP, sorry that you are still feeling yuck.

Well I really don't know what's up with my OPKs. I have an appointment next Wednesday with my specialist anyway so I will ask him then.

I'll catch up in the rest later but wanted to chime in on this.

Lbam- here's the gist of it. The male fetus requires more calories then the female fetus. If your body thinks times are good the fertilized male egg has a better chance to burrow in and grow, if your body thinks that the fetus has little chance of survival it can end things before it begins. Your body doesn't want to produce a fetus that it can't support and has little chance of survival after birth.
We all know of exceptions to this theory but that doesn't make it any less valid.

So the diet doesn't give you extra chances of getting a male sperm to fertilise the egg, it just helps if by chance a male sperm does get to the egg.

I think it helps both? It changes the acid/alkaline environment of our CM? And the minerals aswell that the boy sperm thrive in?
