Raining and Kelbear, congratulations with your GIRLS!
So happy for you, Kelbear, I hope everything with the baby will be fine and your husband will become very supportive from now on. I was rooting for you so much.
Gafan, I had SCH too with my first, had a few episodes of bleeding, each time I thought it's over, but I tried to rest two weeks and stay well hydrated, and a few more episodes of brown discharge, and SCH was gone. Good luck!
As for me, I was searching internet for a little bit of hope that my boy will "turned out girl", but seems no way, and seems my doc is almost never wrong, at least not with boys turning out girls, there are a few opposite stories of early gender prediction (11-12) indicating girl, then becoming boy, but none the other way around. So I'm a bit depressed about not having a girl again, but still happy for a healthy rainbow baby. I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow, still a long way to go, I wish it would happen sooner, so I wouldn't dwell over the gender much. Also I wish I could have another scan sooner, so there won't be even 0,01 percent of doubt and hope, which make it harder to embrace reality, but I'll need to wait till around 20 weeks I think to have a scan.

Omg congratulations Kelbear!!! I knew that looked like swollen vulva :P It must feel so surreal for you!!
I feel like more and more though as you all get girls that I will get a girl too. I'm already buying up red meat to freeze dor postpartum since I guess I'll be trying to figure out what to do again... I know that depression has fully kicked in for me since my dog, so that could be coloring my perception of things, but I had a dream last night that I had a 10 year old daughter trying to kill me? Granted, it was not my DD, nor was I myself -- but for some reason Ashley Judd?? Lol. Who knows, but just not feeling like this life has much positive for me anymore.

Congratulations kelbear! Hope everything turns out ok with the placenta, and that she continues to grow. But still- what happy news to hear girl
Sunstars I can imagine how you're feeling. Though I thought the nub theory is not generally used by medical professionals to determine gender. Here in NZ they are not allowed to tell you anything gender related till 20 weeks because they can be wrong. I'm not trying to give you false hope. Probably best to think it's a boy for now. Just dont paint any walls blue yet.
TP I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I dont have any advice to make those feelings go away. But I'm here for you!,
Dont worry about what others are having. I'd be taking comfort of lots of people were having what I wasnt hoping for cuz then thered be more odds in my favor.
Though I think this group is around 50/50 boys and girls. X
