Hi Ladies,
I totally did not expect to join you all this month as I was not planning to start my new and fresh sway after a two month break (June, July )until October. I had just bought my fertility blend supplements and began taking them with my fish oil caps, and drinking green tea. I am super bummed because there is a lot that went wrong with this cycle and I absolutely did not expect to ovulate because I always have a non ovulatory cycle right after I always stop bcp. To begin with I stopped taking all vitamins during my break, was having unprotected sex, the DH (Sorry TMI) used hand lotion as lubricant during all BD’s that occurred. I did also try to add pre-seed after I had my booboo but I think that the lotion he put on himself is going to overpower the pre-seed. There is a reason to why the DH did that and this is because he does not know that I started to sway. I did not want him to have performance issues or be stressed over it but I kept my mouth shut when he would add and kept telling myself “at least I added pre-seed”. I also had to reset my CBFM monitor because I failed to take out the batteries which continued to add days to the cycle I last used it on. To top it all off I was loosing some weight which I know does not favor boy sways and from my previous two daughter’s I conceived them in the process of loosing weight. The only thing I did do different this time was not skipping breakfast. So here is what I have so far.

Started Fertility Blend Supplements, Fish Oil and Green Tea
8/1/2014-Friday
Stopped BCP (Last Day of Pack):
8/3/2014-Sunday
AF arrived:
8/5/2014- Tuesday (Reset CBFM- CD1)
AF ended:
8/10/2014-Sunday (CD 5-Low reading)-Unprotected BD
8/11/2014-Monday (CD6-High Reading)-CBFM 1st Test
8/12/2014-Tuesday (CD7-High Reading)-Unprotected BD
8/13/2014-Wednesday (CD8-High Reading)-Unprotected BD
Positive CBFM Peak Day
8/14/2014-Thursday (CD9-1st Peak Reading) / Confirmed with Cheapy OPK’s /Unprotected BD
8/15/2014-Friday (CD9-2ndPeak Reading) / Confirmed with Cheapy OPK’s

I expect to ovulate some time today or early morning tomorrow from my previous cycle experiences. I never go past the second peak day of my cbfm without ovulating and this was because I temped for 6 months while using the cbfm. I had highly considered using the morning after pill but I figured it took me this long of trying and still not getting pregnant that I should just let this month go and wait to see what happens. My conscience was telling me how horrible I was for even thinking it so I am just going to suck it up and go team green. I really hope I still have a slight chance of having a baby boy after all of the stuff that I did wrong. Yogi - all those attempts will sway blue for you - more than any hand lotion I'm sure!! Plus 3 weeks of green tea and fish oils would have done some good. I really wouldn't worry about the lotion other than whether it's safe to use in an intimate area.

I kept google maniac trying to find anything about using lotion and I found nothing. This gives me a piece of mind. I really appreciate your response

Good luck Yogi! Sounds like a good chance at blue still! Three attempts in the fertile window is great for boys so did you get that many? Or maybe you need to BD tonight and tomorrow too? And definitely stressing ways boy so keep that up along with your googling obsession! That's definitely my issue and I have 2 boys!

I'm 12 DPO (?) and BFN and definite AF feelings so I'm 99.9% sure I'm out. I'm actually very much at peace with it. I was considering taking this month off attempting anyways (due to a huge vacation we leave for in 2 weeks I didn't want to be pg for!), so really it's not the end of the world. I'm kind of bummed because DH and I were both quite sick from CD1-CD10 and was thinking that would help the sway, but it is what it is. I'm having a very nice bottle of wine with DH tonight and ordering my favorite dinner (veggie pizza) to cheer me up!

Thank you for your response!! I was able to get 3bd's since my first high reading in a four day window. I don't think I have the energy for more lol. The dhs libido was higher earlier in the week but yesterday was more of a necessity to cover up my boo boo. I pray that it is what you say.

I am 14 dpo today, tested an hour ago, and got the biggest bfp!
I said I wouldn't get too excited bc we had a chemical last month, but last month the line was very faint and never got darker. This line came out right away and it's as dark as when I'm getting a positive opk
