I didn't know they do triggers with clomid... learn something new everyday lol. This cycle my doc is hands off but if we don't conceive this cycle I have to start doing scans (which I don't think my insurance will pay for as it is fertility related ) Hoping to avoid that so I can see why you'd want to get preg asap. for you!

Hopefully that will be enough
I'll keep my for you too

I used to loath the thought of twins...that's so much when I don't even know if I can handle one!! But now it's growing on me. B/G or B/B would definitely be my preference. A friend of mine on Clomid is now having B/B twins in October.
You are welcome And I agree... "gushing" is annoying and just plain feels gross lol. I felt the same way you did before I had my first. I NEVER wanted to have twins my first pregnancy and for the same reason you mentioned. I'd babysat before but I didn't want to have to figure out how to take care of two full-time when I had never even taken care of one full-time, lol. That is a learning curve and I don't think I could have done it x2 and maintained any sense of sanity, lol. My first was hard enough by himself. When he was really little he'd cry and cry, nothing soothed him except the swing and he couldn't stay in that all day... so he cried. A LOT. Then when he got older he went through a screaming phase where he'd scream constantly. Nothing wrong with him, he just liked to hear himself scream lol. Double that and I'd have ended up in the looney bin. BUT don't freak out based on him, I am always a smidge worried that someday my stories about my kids will scare some poor, unsuspecting soon to be first time mom to death, lol. He is autistic and I think that played a big role in that behavior... both my kids are high functioning autistics (my oldest, soon to be 9, is intellectually advanced but socially equivalent to a kindergartener and behaviorally challenging to put it mildly. My youngest, 5, has a very mild case. He is socially well adjusted for the most part but has speech issues and very typical autistic behavior), so I have NO idea what it is like to have a "neuro-typical" child lol. They might be easier

That's so awesome! As a school counselor I spend a lot of time with kids from many walks of life, but we have a very low-functioning autistic student I've worked with who has such a plethora of knowledge about dinosaurs and I just love listening to him share his passion! I love dinosaurs too and wish I had half of the intellect on them that he does. It's so awesome! I also just had a high functioning autistic boy in the graduating class who won several scholarships and is now on his way to college to be an accountant. A friend of mine has three boys, and the oldest and youngest are both autistic, and relatively relating to yours in diagnosis. She is such a strong, patient and loving woman, much like I'd imagine you are! They're all such amazing kids!

Thank you for the vote of confidence I'll be honest, boy do they know how to ride my nerves sometimes lol, but for an autistic child to show affection you know it is truly genuine so when my youngest is screaming that he wants to be with me (instead of going with Daddy, or visa versa) or they out of the blue come up and give me a hug and a kiss or tell me they love me it means more to me than my weight in gold. My oldest is obsessed with math, numbers and maps. He was multiplying and dividing when his peers were learning to add and subtract, he writes and draws and does math constantly (seriously! We should buy stock in the notebook paper companies lol, he had fill up a 5 subject notebook in a week!) and we call him our little GPS. When he was 4 he started reading street signs, at 5 he was learning maps and by age 6 he could tell you how to get to just about anywhere in our state, usually with several possible routes and he knows them all, and how to get to most places in a 3 state radius! I'll never forget the day he started explaining how to get to the town my dad had just moved to in Georgia. He'd never been there but road by road he gave very detailed directions. A friend of the family was there at the time and is a trucker and they were amazed that he got it right and started quizing him on how to get to different places. My son ate it up, of course, and it was like a new little party game "try to stump the map savant" lol. My youngest is more into puzzles and how things work, what makes them tick.

Ladies who here has been trying for 6+ months? Are you switching anything up? Have you talked to your Dr.? I'm not sure if I should try to make an appt now or keep waiting a bit. It just always happened so quickly for us in the past that I'm not sure I'm ready to accept help.

Two: that's so awesome! I'm terrible at math, science AND directions! He definitely has me beat! How cool and I bet he is so proud of his knowledge and ability. Your youngest sounds like one day we may see him in NASA or something building and creating all sorts of cool things!

Junie: we've been trying for 9 months for our first. Albiet there are ovulation problems, I was so happy to accept help because that gave me hope and a possibility that something will happen.

Junie, I'm on month 4 and have switched to bd every 3 days plus another attempt at +opk. Plus, I started clomid this cycle. Have you messaged atomic? I don't think it would hurt to talk to your doctor. Mine gave me the clomid without any hassle. I know all doctors are different but I think it's worth it to see what they have to say.
