Gender Selection Rules up for review in Australia - please make a submission!

I am anxiously waiting on hearing the results too. I think it will be my only way to convince my husband to do it and go a third. To travel os i doubt he will go for it. I have convinced myself that it will be passed! Do you think if they approve it it will then take yesrs for law to be passed or will it take effect straight away?

On the very slim chance that the changes are approved I cant believe that it would become legal across Aust anytime soon, pollies dragging their feet and all. I'm hoping that if the changes happen maybe one state might legalise it quicker than others and could maybe travel interstate for it (NSW did have gender selection legal for a short period of time I think so maybe they might be quicker to implement).

No. There's no further information. They are just dragging this out. It's hard to imagine it would be approved

Unfortunately this isn't likely to be a case of "no news is good news".

This was the latest update which is nothing new but thought I'd repost. I think there is a bit going on in the background from what I've heard but no date for announcement.
