Yes defo insist on it, its an important scan plus they like to combine it with a blood test on the same day now xx

I've just been using the doppler to see if I can pick up the heartbeat again and I felt a kick, I thought I must be imagining it but focused the doppler where I had felt it and got another really big one! I saw it as well as felt it, almost like the baby did a big body flip! I'm absolutely stunned as I thought it was way to early to feel movements, I'm only 12+2. I felt movements at about 15 weeks with ds1 and around 17 weeks with ds2 so I wasn't expecting anything for a while yet!!

Hi ladies, how's everyone feeling?

Wishing how are you haven't heard from you for awhile?

My gender scan is in 6days time.....gulp! I'm starting to panick, I have positive days and bad days! It's a horrible feeling cos I
Obviously I'm worried about gender but also stressing that's buts might not be healthy I'm just not feeling baby move much and when I do its so delicate you'd barely notice! I also worry about things like where the placenta is positioned because I'm desperate for my homebirth ahhhh I hate all this waiting and worrying! My scans at 3pm so I have all day to stress about it! X

Just been coping on my own for that last week and a half as the oh had to fly out for work So by the end of the day i was just too tired to come on and write altho i did read all the posts. Worrying about gender now with the scan approaching. This is my last chance of my dream as the oh doesn't want more, i just know this one will be a boy which i'll love just as much as my other 2 but it's means my dream will never come true which is what upsets me.

Enough of that tho, how fab that your gender scan is soon. I just know you'll be on here saying GIRL!!!!! x

Suregena, with my first ds i had a early scan at 8 weeks and was never given a 12 week one. Wished i pushed more now that i think about it but as it was my first i wasn't sure.

suregena - push for the 12 week NT scan, the purpose of that one is completely different to the purpose of an early scan - so they shouldnt refuse you a NT scan..

urgh.. I had to complain about health insurance. Our health care has a global fee for prenatal so just the visits and birth/hospital etc are charged at the end. It used to be u/s too but apparently that is not?? according to BCBS..
The part that really pisses me off is that since I have to go to maternal fetal medicine for half of my visits, those have no global fee. I have to pay like $30 each time!!! super annoying. since its a specialist apparently..even though its still maternity care for the same pregnancy.

I will have the same thing happen if I have to go to a specialist. With DS2, my insurance wasn't as good as it is now and I had to pay $100 every time I went (I went about 8 times!). It was terrible!

i and im sure every1 else on here can totally relate to how your feeling, this is my last chance too and its a horrible thought knowing 'this is it' i didnt sway either so that makes it worse for me im seriously freaking out lol!!
dont loose hope hun you have swayed well and im sure you will get your little girl!!!

aww thanks for saying that....tho if im honest i still beleive in my head that im having a boy even tho ive had lots of nub guesses saying girl i just cant bring myself to beleive it!!

aww mummy thats great not only did you hear the hb you felt bubs kick amazing!!! it is truely the most amazing feeling ever!! i felt ds2 at 13wks so i dont think its to early at all!! x

Im new on here, due 7th March getting all girl guesses on my scan piccy on here and another gender site, after 3 boys, i don't believe it !!

I find out at my 2nd Scan Tues 9th October!!! eeeeeekkkk! please look at my 12 week piccy and let me know your thoughts
