Bluebonnet and linz, I hope you both get your dreams

I'm still trying to talk dh around for a gender scan. I was finally able to explain why I want the scan and why we're getting so many boy nub guesses. I suspect hubby might be worried about disappointment, not just cost. If this pricing is correct, there is a place locally that does gender scan. The package is only for gender. Takes 3-5mins for the scan and if you don't get a good shot and bub measures 17 weeks+ you get another appointment to try again. It's only $70.

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015. He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.

A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

Ours was the same deal especially because we had an early peek at 15 weeks where it was a free redo if they couldn't get a good shot or if we just wanted to confirm in the later weeks. When they asked us if we needed another appointment set for 2 weeks to double check we waived it because their was no denial. If you are able to opt for that scan I hope its a hey mom look at this with no questions!

I get it linzshine and its WORSE when you know what you are looking for. I had a 2.5 hour drive to get to my early gender scan. The night before was oh god oh no now I cant sleep but I need to.. The whole drive was what if, I had myself prepared to hear boy but am I ready? Then it took 11 minutes for her to uncross her legs to get a clean shot. The whole time It was well the skull looks boyish.. wait the nasal bone wasn't imaged... ok there is is thats girly. WAIT DID I JUST SEE A BOY PART STICKING UP? nope that was cord nevermind. It was a freaking rollercoaster! Im better at hiding my emotions in public my DH was the one crying when she said girl but I was almost right behind him with the tears.
I get why you have the back and forth with so much positive girl guessing that puts you in the safe zone and then you have that nagging what if right behind it. To the non nub-obsessed we all probably look and sound like crazy people LOL
Nahri describes the anguish well. I was a nervous wreck. I didn't want to talk about it with anyone. DH would say something and I had to stop myself from telling him to 'shush!". I was having a rough bought of morning sickness at that point and when I went for the scan was the absolute worst I have felt this whole pregnancy.

We totally get your anxiety Liz and bluebonnet! We'll be here to celebrate no matter what!!!

Great news boysway! I would be pretty confident that's your boy!
Good luck lizshine and bluebonnet its soooo hard, I found the wait horrible what helped me was picturing both outcomes ( just in case), and knowing that I would love this baby no matter what! Also anything you can do to distract yourself bad tele, Pinterest (staying clear of baby clothes/ nurseries) etc will be thinking of both of you XX

just a few more days Linz! Next monday I have my 20 week scan. Im not telling the tech I already know the gender just to see what she/he says without tainting the outcome

Im from Michigan myself! It sucks to have to plan these appointments around the bad weather especially when I have to tote a 2.5 year old around but I always got wayyyyy overheated with DS so I dont think I could deal with the hot flashes in the summer weather!

Linz, the wait will kill me but I'm going to book in for 17 weeks. The place I'm going to book with offer a guarantee of another scan for free if bub doesn't reveal the gender. It's only guaranteed from 17 weeks, measured by bubs head diameter. That's just over 3 weeks away.

Good idea Nahri. I wouldn't reveal either. I'm going to do the same when I go for my growth scan.

I'm from New South Wales (NSW), Australia.
