Look at me! I have a ticker! I'm so excited I did it right. It wasn't hard at all, either. Given that I used to write software code for a living one wouldn't think I'd be intimidated by things like that ;-)

OH and Jen, I'm think it'll be fun to wait it out so love that you might too ... I know you've done it once before but we never have, so I think it'll be fun to do it this way just once. Plus I'm likely going to have to be induced so since the birthday won't be a surprise at least something will!

LOVE the ticker!!!! If we have a boy, I am going to break out my cowboy and indians decor again.
Lola: DH said the same thing about the workers there. "Boy these people look ruff" and he is a police officer, so that's saying a lot. I was very....ummm....interested in my husband when we conceived 5 of the 6 kids (and this past month). NOt to say it doesn't happen when we are not TTCing, but I guess I just notice more.thank you GD

Well I tested this morning with a dip stick test that says picks up hcg as low as 25 and to test after 7-10 days after conception, and a big fat NOT PREGNANT for me. No 2nd line not even a smidgen not even after looking at it with a looking glass after 2 hours. I am 11 dpo so I think I am out. I think the let down that I was feeling was because dd2 was sick yesterday and was crying a lot and I only weaned her about a month ago.
Thanks all for your support. Always love reading your stories about your holidays and your kids and your ex-boyfriends and your life. I won't be testing again before 14dpo, unless af comes sooner...

Glad to see you still around here, don't worry about the weight....it can come off
would suck if it was permanent! I'm sure you'll be back to your old self in no time, i know how you feel though. I was trying on new clothes today and boy do i hate those change room mirrors!!! I've put on 30kgs and really regret not loosing some before i got UTD.

Hey ladies!
ITA with Kris, you will loose the weight, TTC5. Heck, I am at my DELIVERY weight now, as I said before, so I am just going to focus on the positive right now and worry about the weight loss later. But, I do think it's a great idea to take a break and loose some, then jump back on the ttc train. Hobbermittens did that well, and I tried to, but just turned fat to muscle. And yea, what the hell is up with the store mirrors? Target is the WORST. I swear, those mirrors are pointed down to make you look stockier and the lighting is from straight above to make your cellulite and ass appear like the size and surface of the moon. I always get so depressed after I try clothes on there.
Layla, sorry about the bfn. You probably know this, but since you just weaned your DD, your body may still be adjusting, so try not to fret about it too much. It took me a few months after weaning to get my period back, so I know I wasn't even ovulating then either. Take it from a long-timer.....just gotta keep your chin up and get excited for the next try. Each month you try gives you a stronger sway, in my opinion, because you are making yourself more boy-friendly...although there is the weight thing, but you just have to deal with that however you can.
Begonia, I LOVE your ticker! I know, I can't believe you are 8 weeks already too!!!! I am really loving you and 3 not finding out. I very well may join you there someday.
SO, I am officially 1dpo today. Whoopety-do! I could totally feel my ovaries releasing egg(s) around 5pm yesterday, so we hopped in the sack and dtd again, right on top of it. IG sticklers would have a heart attack about that, no? LOL

Haha, now I don't feel as judgemental towards the Carnies. They really are scary. We have a lot of mayhem in our city when the Fair comes to town.....afterhours, that it. The late night dive bars love that time of year.
And I DEFINITELY felt a way increased sex drive the last couple of days. I guess our bodies know what's up...they want to procreate! I was gonna try to wait till the morning, which in retrospect, may have been a wiser idea re: sperm count....but hey, I am not sweating it. There was no way we weren't going to dtd that night....DH was all about it too, must have been my pheramones or something. Good to hear that yours usually resulted in babies, WP!
