It's a healthy boy! I'm ok. I've cried all the way home and I'm sure I'll cry again but it will be ok. Obviously I am meant to be a mum of boys. Time to let go of my girl name and the couple of clothes I bought, get rid of the barbies and start planning some epic boy rooms.

Oh honey, get it all out now! We are here for you, and you have a right to feel the way you do! I hope and pray that your little boy you're carrying melts your heart one day, and all of this sadness now goes away [emoji8]!

Let's bring on those EPIC boy rooms!! Seriously, let's do this! I have a bunch of great ideas! My DH is scared! He thinks it's crazy that I have such awesome ideas about this stuff, then he kisses me and says I'm so amazing with the boys. Now if only I could be that amazing with the housework...I guess we can't have it all [emoji6]!!!

Mars- congrats on a healthy boy! I am so sorry you didn't hear girl. Like others have said we are hear to listen. Or you can write on the GD forum and we'll be there too. I can imagine how heartbroken you feel. How heartbroken I would be. Take your time to mourn her loss. We'll be here for you. ((Hugs♡))

Aww mars i am sorry. So happy to hear your blue bundle is healthy and congrats on another boy. We def understand the pain. You have the right to grieve the idea of not getting your daughter. It hurts!! Cry and let it all out. I cried for weeks after finding out about ds3 but it was never him i eas sad about it was the idea of never having a dd. Is this your last baby mars??

Thanks ladies, I've cried and am now onto the next stage of denial Lol This is our last baby and I even had reservations about having a third so now I'm trying to deal with those thoughts as well. I don't feel like it is real. Everyone said girl, the psychic said girl, my grandmother who has dream's said girl and even dreamt of our girls name. I felt different this pregnancy. I know I said it when I had my DS2 but I don't know how I will love 3 boys. I felt like DS2 was my last boy.

Congrats on your baby boy Mars!

I've been there where your are, after hearing DS3. It took me a few weeks to get over the worst of it, and the first few days were the worst of all. Now, I can't imagine having a more wonderful child than DS3. It's like a faded memory now, the DG hell I went through when I found out boy yet again. You have a lot to look forward to, even though it's hard to imagine now. A little boy following his older brothers around, wanting to be eactly like them. Your older ones will learn more compassion and caring for their younger brother. And most of all, more cuddles and kisses for the entire family! And think of 3 strapping lads, young men, all taller than their mommy one day, all there to take care of their mommy.

Take your time, be kind to yourself, don't feel guilty about your feelings. I thought I'd never get over it, but I did, and I was fine. After a while you get used to your family as it is, and you get on with your life. You forget that you have 3 boys, you just have 3 children, each individuals in their own rights. Remember boys need the exact same love from their mommy as girls do, and that is the most important, love from mom (and dad). So you get to love another person, you are so lucky!

I'm sorry Mars. It must be very hard right now to accept. Claire is so right- another person to love and watch grow is really an amazing thing. When I think about having a third and my PP friends sit back and swim in their perfection, I feel very lucky to be where I am. They won't ever have that and so your third is really precious.

Take care of yourself and let time heal.
