Is it okay if I take this test at 5:45 since I've not drink anything since 3:45? Or should I just wait until 7 to be safe?

I would think so? Pbn is the one to ask those to [emoji20]. I always just tested once a day but I didn't have a short surge [emoji53]. On my last cycle I did twice a day but never a specific time I just held as long as I could after lunch.

Thanks Ash! Yea, mine have been short, so not wanting to miss it! Will test at 5:45 tonight and then just test at 7 the following days.

Mommy - most surge between 2-4, so test sometime around then and at 7 too if you know you have a short surge. Shoot for a 2 hour hold, with sips the first hour and nothing the last hour if possible [emoji846]

Mommy- My RE told me that LH peaks from 11am-7pm. He said to test in the morning and in the evening, if using regular opks. I always followed with a CBD (pink cap ones) when my opks started to get dark to confirm the surge.

TTC- That is so interesting! I've only heard of it happening in pregnancy too! Maybe it has something to do with high hormone levels. If you don't get a BFP this cycle, I bet you will soon!
