Myrainbowg: I am just doing it to prepare myself for when reality hits me(like a freight train..) As I do not feel any different than I did with the boys.. Safest that way
Am finally on holiday now! Jippi! three weeks off, going to mountains tomorrow, next thursday off to the coast. Have been baby-window shopping with DH this evening whilst boys were home playing games on their computer(very seldom their allowed) I know the pram, and the cot and the rest of the stuff I want to buy, must enjoy the last weeks dreaming of pink

Hi everyone! I have been stepping back for a bit from the threads and can't believe how much I have missed on this one! It's hard to believe it is time for gender scans already!
3Boys and LadyBug, congratulations on your healthy baby boys!! I know it must be an adjustment and I can imagine it's hard to wrap your mind around it at first. Those little babies will be stealing your hearts away when you meet them. Hugs to you both.
GeCon, I can't see a nub and don't know enough to make a guess, but I am glad all went well with your scan!
AFM, I am 7DPO today. Going to test on 10DPO if AF doesn't beat me to it. I'm much more relaxed this month, and while not feeling optimistic about a BFP this month, I'm feeling better knowing I have a Dr. appt. right around the corner. (I did however have a temp drop yesterday so I must admit I am the slightest bit hopeful that it could be an implantation dip!) I also have two trips coming up to look forward to...celebrating our 10th anniversary with an overnight in the city next week with my hubby, and then a family vacation at my in-laws lake house for a week following that. It will certainly take my mind off of things and make the time go quickly this next month!
Sorry if I missed any updates. I was reading quickly and will go back to have a better look when I have a bit more time.

Charlee...in answer, I did my share of whiney why me crying, then decided to make a little red hat for this wee man as a going home outfit! I might take pix tomorrow in the am if it looks good in the light. Personally, it was nice and easy to make and both of my boys were awed by my sewing!!!!!
I will hide out in this thread...you girls make me feel safest. I feel so bad for not doing personals right now...a good night's sleep and a day off should help. But Dream and Charlee....add me to the looking at every little sign! I won't even start rattling off all my "signs" of my elusive DD'06'06

Love that story, but we have never ever had an opps!! Fate would have to be poking holes in condoms....or still have some swimmers post v!
Gecon...I am not a pro at the nub guessing, but I wish you pink, pink luck!!
Rainbowgirl....when will you know if you can get the Materniti 21 test???
Charlee...I just bought some cute clothes off another girl who has 3 boys and she said to me that she cried when she found out she was having a 3rd boy, but she too has decided to call it quits and be the awesome mom she is to her lovely 3 boys!!!'06'06

Told my MIL today who gave a predictably unenthusiastic reaction to the addition of a new baby - she even said what are you going to do with three boys?! I mean, WTF?!!
Later she phoned my SIL to say she felt bad about her reaction, but she's happy because she knows its what we want, but worries about our finances, WTF! We both work and own our home, seriously, F' OFF.
I'm pissed off if you can't tell

Dream - Glad I helped you feel better! Praying you hear pink on Thursday! Lol on the chin hair...same situation here! Although mine has grown on and off for the past several years...I know it was there during my last pg with DS3. So far, this time, it's a no show! Praying it's a girl sign for both of us!
Emily - You made the right decision! I say try to ignore your friends. So sorry you're having to hear such terrible comments! Grrrr.
Ladybugs - HUGS!! I dread announcing boy, too. Give yourself time to grieve. On the MaterniT21 test...should find out if they'll do it for me at my 8-wk check on Thursday.
Happypixi - Ugh on the MIL comment! I would be soooooo mad, too. Glad she apologized, though. Still, grrr.
Waiting4Daisy - Agreed. Who ever says, "Wish I'd spent more time on my career instead of my family!"
2lovely - I can't believe how freely people will say to me, "I bet you wanted a girl" while pointing to DS3! I am SO glad he doesn't understand yet. I mean, how unbelievably RUDE!!!
Charlee - Hope you're well. Yay for a good day!
GeCon - Beautiful baby, but can't really see a nub. Go with what Charlee said!
Mathilde - That makes sense! But people have similar pg's and different genders all the time. Happened recently to a good friend of mine!
TTCPink - Congrats on your 10th anniversary! Ours was July 5th...just went out to a super fancy dinner last night and it was awesome! Planning a little trip to celebrate in November, when DH's work should slow down. Baby dust this month!!
AFM - Not much new here...still exhausted! Missed my nap window of opportunity today. Ugh...maybe I can get in bed early!
