10DPO for me today and I tested the first time this morning. BFN. I have given up on the temp drop at 6DPO being implantation as it would have shown up on the FRER today if is was. I also had a big temp drop this morning so unfortunately it looks like AF is on her way and just in time to spoil our little getaway.
Oh well. Upwards and onwards. I have an OB appt. on August 6th. Time to investigate why it is taking so long to conceive this time.

2LB, good luck with your appointment this afternoon. Keep us posted how you get on.
TTCPink, sorry to hear that this wasn't your month, but good news that you will hopefully get some answers and help conceiving soon. I know you are ovulating, but do you think Clomid might be an option for you to help with the quality of the eggs? Just a thought... Anyway, I am crossing my fingers for you for the next cycle (I am assuming you will still be trying) and that you won't need your appointment after all.

Hi guys! Went to the mountains, but left early as it was too cold
So glad everybody is happy and healthy and have things to look forward to! I am feeling much better, no ms little tired but too ok.. Am ten weeks now(9+1) and am now convinced he is dead, as I have no symptoms, and can't feel my belly growing at all.. Please how did you feel, or not feel at my stage, need to get hold of a midwife tomorrow to hear a heartbeat.. I always get hysterical like this at this stage..

Waiting4Daisy - Anniversary buddies!
Hope you're enjoying your honeymoon!
2LB - Fx for another VBAC! You'd think they'd let you do it again, if you've done it once? But I am certainly no expert! GL!
TTCPink - So sorry you got a BFN. Hoping next month is it!! Pink dust!! I agree with GeCon...maybe try Clomid?
Mathilde - Glad you're feeling ok. But, oh goodness, don't think s/he's dead!
I am not to your stage yet, so can't really give you any symptoms to compare...don't really remember with my boys, except that I am 100% positive that nausea started getting better at that point. Definitely call your midwife, just for peace of mind! Hugs!
Bunnywabbit - Come on, pink sperm!! GL!
AFM - Still tired, nausea comes & goes. Can't wait for my first appt. this Thursday!

Hi everyone! Just got back from a long and secluded vacation to my parents' house. Lots to catch up on here!!
Mathilde, don't jump to the worst case scenario just yet when it is much more likely that everything is fine. I'm 10+3 and last week I didn't feel anything much at all, just like you. My bump hasn't shown yet either, and I doubt it will for a few more weeks. On 10+0 I had an amazing scan that showed a perfectly formed little baby, just 3.5cm long, actively moving all its arms and legs. What a surprise to see such movement when I kept forgetting I was even pregnant!
Charlee, ladybugs, and 3LB, so sorry you all heard blue. I am so empathetic to what you are feeling and am preparing myself to hear the same, as I'm sure we all are. Wishing you lots of inner strength for the loss or postponement of your girl dream, and I have no doubt you will bond with your little guys as strongly as ever and be excellent boy moms.
Seems like lots of relatives are pretty insensitive. They seem to jump right in and speak their minds without even considering that you might feel even worse for it. Luckily I don't have to deal with that at the moment, but what you describe makes me want to go give all your MILs a talking-to!
For those of you still trying, sending you lots of baby dust... Hope your bfp comes soon!
Hope I didn't miss any other major posts. Afm, I am a little worried about my pink prospects because for this pregnancy I haven't had any true nausea, just like my pg with DS. All the girl moms I know have had ms, and only boy moms I know have had NO nausea at all. That's not to say I have no symptoms, though -- the fatigue, dizziness, and cravings have been pretty obvious, along with really excessive indigestion/burping that does make me feel pretty icky. Just no true seasick-type nausea.
I've attached two pics of my little bun in the oven at 10+0. There is an obvious girly nub in pic 2 but from what I understand, the male nub doesn't start to rise until close to 12 weeks -- they all look like girls at 10 weeks! I'm soon getting (hopefully) the fetal genetics analyzed from a maternal blood draw, although I am not going to find out gender from it. It's just to put my mind at ease; I want every possible test because I'd rather know than not know if there was a problem. Not that I'm expecting one, though! image.jpgimage.jpgDSis nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a
, but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a
, sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs.Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Morning all
Another hot hot day in the North of England, don't get to say that often!
TTC pink, I stopped temping after O, it stressed me out! 10dpo is still early so ill keep my fingers crossed!!
I don't know of nausea can really be linked to sex of baby... I think it's more likely to do with your bodies tolerance of the hormonal changes, some cope better than others. I had a little nausea with no. 1 but no spewing, none with no.2. My SIL with two girls spent the first few weeks hugging the toilet bowl, much to my amusement! The other with one girl, one boy had none with either.
That's my reasoning anyway, so I don't dwell on it too much ;D
I swing from one day not caring what sex it is and just being excited, to the next day and fawning over every little girl in the park wondering if I will ever have one, its a bit of an emotional roller coaster :/
Rainbow girl, not much here either ;D
