Has anyone gained a lot of weight on the diet? I'm not weighing myself because I want to stay in denial but I'm sure I have. I'm working out often and eating very little processed food but it's still a lot of calories and a ton of nuts so high fat. I see some of you have been on the diet for awhile and wondering how you are doing it?

I am losing super slow. Losing fat and gaining muscle. Clothes are loser but not a massive change on the scales. Lots of small meals, all healthy and gym 5 days a week. Feeling great!

Do you have your diet on here anywhere? I am trying to be healthy but I feel like I am eating a ton of nuts and I'd really like to eat less. I generally snack all day with my biggest meal being lunch. I am hungry all the time though!! Everytime I get hungry, I get paranoid my blood sugar is dropping and I eat.

I put on a fair amount of weight in the first 9 months of my sway so i decided to cut out all take away foods, i cut out lots of carbs like bread and rice, replaced them with low gi carbs like sweet potato and oats. I stopped drinking calories, only water through out the day. Breakfast was my biggest meal lunch was medium and dinner was small. I ate 10 almonds per day with a green apple for morning snack, so didnt overdo nuts, ate my fruits for the day before the afternoon (so the natural sugars would burn off) and veggies at dinner time with lean meat with all fat cut off. Working out was very helpful and at the time i conceived i had just lost about 6kgs.

That's great information! I'm really overdoing it on the nuts. I don't even care about losing weight I just want my muffin top gone!! I don't want to go into a pregnancy wanting to lose weight. I just found out another friend of mine is having a boy. All three people that are pregnant are having boys and they all had girls first! I'm a little jealous but hopeful it will happen for me too.

Yeah thats pretty much what I am doing too. Big breakfast, medium lunch, small dinner, no more than 10 nuts a day, cheese and rice crackers for one snack and a protein shake after the gym, before bed.

Lol OMG you ladies make me feel so guilty! I cannot live off a small meal I get stomach pains because of starvation. I do generally have a big breakfast with oats oatmeal with peanut butter and a banana and mid morning snack is almonds and dates.. And i have larabars with coconut water, cheese and crackers.. sometimes apple with peanut butter.. i just think its all this rich food Im eating.. i dont eat from out much either. I'm really cutting back on bread and if I do it's whole grain.. I do always eat before I go sleep ( its usually breakfast cereals or 3dates with glass of milk) because by the time I get up in morning my stomach grumbles bad lol
Any advice on what else I could replace the bread with and what else I could eat.. I've gained weight but I checked recently I lost 5pounds in a month I don't know if it just fat turned into muscle but I've gone bulky!! Lol it's horrendous
How many times do you guys have Snacks?

I kind of just snack all day. I have a big breakfast and then eat every 2 hours or so. My breakfast is either banana, berry and protein powder pancakes with Greek yoghurt or bacon and eggs on a cruskit with avocado or coconut yoghurt with this seed and goji berry mix in it. First snack is usually poppy seed and sea salt corn chips with chive and onion cream cheese dip. Then fruit and nuts. Then a little left over dinner in snack size (lunch). Then cheese and crackers. Then meat and veg. Then gym. Then protein shake with banana and berries blended in. Then bed.

Oh the things we do...laying on my bed with a heat bag on my tummy (thanks for the tip flava). I long for the days when TTC didn't involve swallowing a bazillion supplements, weird drinks, lots of food I am not used to eating and laying with heat bags on me. It used to be so simple hey!! But as they say....if you always do what you've always done you will always get what you always got! My new motto.
