Melinda...that woman had no right to say any of that stuff to you. I don't know why some people think they have the right to contribute unwanted information. You have every right to be upset. Just try not to let it bother you too much. Health care workers can be sooooo insensitive. So sorry you had to go through that (((hugs))).

I keep meaning to ask whether you've all read this post:

    http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...-the-FGD/page2

The idea that's introduced on page 2 is that perhaps calcium is swaying when taken in very high quantities because taking some minerals in high dosages (like Boron) lower fertility (because they're poisoning you!). Sodium is another mineral which has has also been shown to reduce fertility in the past. Of course this is unproven but I think it's such an amazing idea - have a read

I am pretty much over it now, I just really hope I do get a girl to rub it in her face lol if its another boy it will be with the same u/s tech so I would feel she was secretly "told you so" to me lol, but I want just one girl or b/g twins and I think I can honestly say that bb twins would be just as awesome because I have always dreamed of twins and desire them as much as a little girl, now if I get gg twins then I won the lottery lmbo

I can't believe she tried to offer you a 'permanent' contraceptive. What an assumption! That was very unprofessional and I'd complain about it (unless I was trying to keep my testosterone low ). Big {hugs}. There are plenty of women who have several of one sex before having one or more of another. WE know that so you just ignore that insensitive job's worth ok? {hugs} P.S. If you should find yourself pregnant with twin girls make sure you have to go back and see her and rub it in!!

Thanks all for letting me know what you're doing with frequent BDing. I'm not concerned about timing either but I am concerned with lowering sperm count because I got pregnant so quickly with each of the boys. I'm not confident that I'll get pregnant with one BD but I feel like if I got pregnant straight away with another boy and I'd BD'd several times then I'll assume our sperm count was still too high, so I'll give it a couple of months then forget about the condoms. I decided we'll use regular condoms (not spermicidal) and Rephresh. Right now, getting pregnant with a girl is more important to me than getting pregnant all together. Don't get me wrong, I'll take (and love!) another boy if that's what's to be but we wouldn't actually be trying again if we already had a mixture of sexes. That sounds terrible and I doubt myself all the time because I'm sure we WILL end up with that 4th boy but when I think that I do actually get excited at the thought of it so I know it will be ok. I love something DoulaMama (I think!) said once, that the third boy was sent because he was meant to be hers and if #3 had been a girl she wouldn't have tried again and he wouldn't have come. I think this is such a beautiful idea
I did say that I really believe that! I would not have my sweet Harry if my little girl had been #3. My hubby would have said NO MORE! I can't imagine my life without his sweet personality and beaming smile. He's my little angel
You're going to get your girl, Z. She's probably tapping her foot up there wondering when her chance is coming

Hello Girls! I haven't been on here in ages! My company was very nosey and I couldn't sit down to type without them hovering! What a nerve!

Anyway, the plan I wrote out on my modified sway is a little redundant now.....geesh! I honestly can't believe that I'm pregnant. It's totally shocking actually. I did say that I wanted an April baby and have said that since DS3 was born...so maybe when I changed my plans for TTC, the sweet little soul up there was like "No way. I'm coming now whether you like it or not." LOL

Anyway, Hello to all the newbies on the thread! Good to meat you! (that was a joke btw....good ole food jokes never get old on this diet...)

I'm going to stick around and chat if you don't mind I have to keep track of my girls!
    xoxo

DM - glad you're still here!

I've started to second-guess our decision to TTC this month, with the due date that's on my twins' birthday, and was stressing over the should I/shouldn't I question as O approaches. Luckily I talked to my Mom last night and asked her what she thought. It turns out the next month's due date (June 8th) would be waaaaay worse because she'll be away in Spain for 3 weeks and wouldn't be able to come help us out after birth. There's no way I'd wait 2 months before TTC again, so the decision is made for me. Now, if we don't end up getting pregnant again this month, I may have to make a big decision, but we'll cross that road when we come to it.
