Even though the TWW wait and TTC is over I can help but hang out here with you ladies. The due date club isn't near as active as this thread!!

Congrats, hitme!! I'm jealous, lol! I'm thinking of taking a digital at the end of the week. I think I have a slow grower, lol! Which maybe I should be OK with because with all of my boys, I had really high levels right from the start. It seems silly to say, but it makes me feel better that this little bean is actually going to stick.

Yes this is true. Folic acid if taken in a large amount at once can be excreted in your urine and not be at the optimum levels in your body. That being said, those of you that take just one pill once a day are fine. This is for people taking 1200mcg or higher. It is best for these people to space a lower dose two-three times a day for the best therapeutic level. I hope this makes sense.

The reason is that FA is water soluble which means you pee out excess. You don't store it. Your body can only absorb so much at a time, so by spacing them out you are giving your body a chance to absorb as much as possible instead of just peeing out most of what you are taking. HTH.

I ended up temping this morning... about an hour and a half late though. Woke up thinking I heard the door bell. Hubby went to check it out so I figured I'd go ahead and temp while I waited to hear what was going on. Must have been dreaming because nobody was at the door. Not sure I trust the temp though. I guess time will tell.
Here you go Pbn *wink*
