Mathilde, so glad all went well at your scan, time to relax. I go through phases where I feel very pregnant then other days no symptoms and could easily forget!
GeCon, did they change your due date at your scan? I asked about gender clues at my scan and was told hospital policy was not to speculate, gotta wait till my 20 week scan!
Dream, not long now . . . . . Will be stalking! Got my fingers crossed for you!
Rainbow girl, good luck for tomorrow, very exciting seeing your LO!
Emily, glad the move went well!
3boys, Charlee, how are you? Been out shopping for your little fella?
Ladybugs, how you feeling? Do you think they will arrange another scan?
Niva, scan pics look lovelyonce you see them makes it all feel real!
Sorry if I've missed anyone, hope you are all well!
AFM, I had my consultant appointment, they are going to let me try for another VBAC, yippee! The weather here is I characteristically hot, shouldn't really complain as love the sunshine but am really starting to struggle with the heat now!

No, my date didn't get changed. At all my scans the due date was within around two days of my EDD by ovulation, so it was left at that.
To be honest, I would have appreciated if she said it was their policy (although that wouldn't have been the case as it is her own practice) not to speculate before 20 weeks or if she said she does not find it reliable enough before 20 weeks, but it is the fact that she strongly stated that there was no way of telling the gender before 20 weeks, which we all know is not the case. Most U/S places offer gender scans from 16 weeks.

GeCon definitely is frustrating! Although I'm in two minds at the moment, not sure how I would feel if the nub was visible and I was getting a variety of guesses at least this way I have to wait until my 20 week scan and then gender can be confirmed! Still keeping my fingers, toes, actually everything crossed!

Eek baby! How cute Mathilde. So excited about all these scans tomorrow. I was feeling horrendous today (well pretty much every day in the morning) so this is my little pick me up coming here and baby chatting to you lovely ladies. Thehappypixi I've had a twin feeling every pregnancy. My last pregnancy most likely was twins as I had a considerable bleed at 6 weeks and they found what appeared to be two sacs but only one little bean. This time because I am massive already (and I was always tiny with my previous pregnancies and didn't show until I was like 20 weeks and I've put on 8 pounds and been blooming sick as a dog I can't help but get all excited about twinnies! So unlikely though. And I'm small and apparently small people are less likely to have them boo! We need to get a set of twins - at least one - on board!
Can't wait to see lovely scan pics rainbow girl (may e you'll have twins?) and Dream I hope you hear pinky pink xxx

Mathilde....your baby is one cutie!!! Lovely scan and reassuring isn't it!!!!
2lovely.....to answer your questions in both here and my sway, we will be getting another scan in 2 weeks to look at his right kidney. At my prenatal visit today, my MD commented that it was of concern as they could not visualize what they needed on the scan, so I will have followup.
Dreamofpink.....may you be able to do more than just dream in pink, but live in pink!!!! Only a little bit more before your scan....best of wishes!!!!!!!
WaitingforDaisy......I remember you back from IG and hope that you do get your lovely little Daisy!! Congrats again on the wedding!!!
Emily.....how was househunting today? And you are close to MD hunting...best of luck with both!!!!
Gecon....policies are quite annoying! I do believe that the weeks are going to pass quickly...half of our summer is over and I keep on thinking it should be May and not July half over!! Are you thinking of a private scan in a few weeks?
AFM and the red hat making......I did not get a chance into sew, but I was trying to figure out how to make this even better. I am trying to pass the weeks until the followup scan with peace of mind regarding his kidney....and his health. His heart and brain are perfect, stomach and limbs....and I have to believe that all is truly well with him, he is just one uncooperative little man!!
I know that I am forgetting so many in our thread....Niva and Cagirl forgive me. I need to go back page by page and respond when my brain returns....again best of luck Dreamofpink!!!!!'06'06

2lovely - Yay for another VBAC! I know it sounds crazy, but I really enjoy the labor & delivery part of pregnancy! There is just no other experience in the world that can match it.
GeCon - Yes, totally frustrating. We all know that you don't have to wait till 20 weeks. Sometimes docs amaze me with some of the things that come out of their mouths!
Mathilde - Aww, cute little jellybean! How exciting! Hope you're feeling relieved now.
Waiting4Daisy - Sorry you've been feeling rough! I feel huge, too...I look pg already (only 8 wks)! Sad, I won't be able to hide it for much longer! Makes me wonder about twins, too...
Ladybugs - We had an issue with DS3's kidney at our 20-wk ultrasound, too. Right kidney was smaller than left. I had many more ultrasounds to check on it (also because I developed low fluid at the end of the pregnancy)...always measured smaller. Seemed to be functioning ok, just small. When he was born, they said we could follow up when he was around 3 months old...never did. Finally asked doc about it at his 12-month checkup in May. Had an ultrasound done last month, and kidney is still small, but does not appear to be a problem! Try not to worry! He is perfect in every other way.
