I've been m.i.a. as well. We had our ultrasound two days ago. We didn't have them tell us the gender, but based off the 12 week scan and what we saw that day I am sure it's boy number 3. I have an envelope with the gender written down in it, I just can't get myself to open it and crush my dreams of having a daughter. Other than that the baby looked good. The placenta is low so I have to have another ultrasound to see if it moves up. I so don't want a c-section!!!

Oh honey! Hang in there! Are you sure you saw boy parts at your most recent sono? I think you should just focus on anything else that can get you through. The envelope will be there when you are ready, if you're ever ready. I'm so glad the baby is healthy though.
Hugs honey! We are always here for you, and you can share your feelings with us. Don't feel like you have to stay away- we care about you no matter what mood you may be in [emoji4]!

Just my opinion tarasue but if it was me I would read the note as at least you will know for sure and can accept what the future brings. You are convincing yourself it's a boy and dealing with emotions that you may not even need to deal with as its your girl after all. Hope this helps, just thinking about what I would do on circumstance. We are here whatever outcome xx

We are on a family(our family, my parents, brother, sister, cousins) vacation this next week. I didn't want to be upset like I was after I found out my second was a boy around all these people, including my sister who is pregnant with a girl... We will open it when we get home. It would sure help if I could partake in some of the pretty umbrella drinks[emoji484]!

Tarasue, I can totally understand you want to wait until you are in the privacy of your own home to open that envelope, and not on holiday with your entire family, including your pregnant sister. Don't forget to update us if you open that envelope. I have heard boy no. 3, I've been there, so have others here on this board.
Have a great holiday and good luck with that envelope!

Things arent looking good on my end unfortunately. Saw the OB the other day for routine check up and in 4 weeks i had gained 10 pounds.. He said he thinks my body is just trying to play catch up from being sick for so long but with my previous gestational diabetes that kind of rapid weight gain is very bad for my odds of having it again... That and i have been excessively thirsty the last week or so.. Chugging water left and right. So i go to the lab in 2 weeks for my glucose test... Soonest i could take it...

Oh Burakoam, that's awful [emoji20]! I had late I at GD with DS2 at 35 weeks. I only gained 25lbs my whole pregnancy and didn't gain any more after week 32. However, I started out being 12lbs heavier than I usually weigh, and I think that had something to do with it. My numbers were never high when I checked the four times a day they required me to (I had to keep a log that they checked at my weekly appointments). I only failed the two hour test in my third trimester.
Hang in there sweetie! It totally sucks having to change your diet, especially when pregnant [emoji34]!
Keep me posted on how your test goes! Hopefully if you eat the GD diet now, you will pass!! I'm Xing everything for you!!
