Ladybugs and dreamofpink, the house hunting is going well thanks. We have seen two that we like and have out offers on. The problem might be getting permission to babyproof with stairgates and pool fencing but we will see. The boys are whinging quite a lot which might be the jetlag, the heat, or biredom from being taken to so many house viewings!
Myrainbowgirl i am 5'8 if i stoopthe average height appears to be about 5'2 fir ladies and a british size 6. They are also (huge generalisation here) very pretty with amazing skin. So as a massive pink sweaty whale i should fit right in! At least i have good pregnancy skin
Mathilde i had to laugh at your comment about lumpy 3d scans! I stupidly told my friend that her scan pic looked a bit like a lava lamp shape! Never again.
2lovely congrats in vbac plan. My friend has just had a VBAC and cannot belive how quick the recovery time was in comparison. She was out sipping a beer on the spanish terrazas just 7 days later.
Bunnwabbit fingers crossed this is your month.
Happypixi is your DH coming with you to the scan? You could totally wind him up about twins!

Today is officially half of my pregnancy gone if I go by previous delivery dates!! I really want this little boy to show up in Dec., even if it is the first of the month!!
Emily....I hope that you are able to get the house you need....and want!! I love your generalization of the women in your new surroundings, but I am betting you look preggo glowing and all cute too! Looking forward to when you track down an u/s machine and a MD to go with it!!
Niva.....glad to hear that all is well with you! You are still going to be team green.....were you team green with your first or not? I can't remember...but I do know that from my first being team green to 2 times team blue now, it was nice dreaming of just the baby.
Myrainbowgirl....hoping that you are having fun all around with your trip...and that you come back refreshed and full of rainbow sightings!
2lovely.....you are getting so close to your scan! I have to hold out my hopes for you to hear pink!!!!!
Which brings me to a point.....I don't want to see blue anywhere right now! Even my fav. shade of turquoise as it reminds me of the horrible baby gifts that could show up in the shade (baby blue) that I don't like!! All I want is orange, green, browns, reds, stripes, polkadots, etc....and no one stating the obvious that I did not get "my girl". Plus, my family and his is just going to comment and gloat on the lack of her.
Positive note...
I did finish my second red hat....it will be posted once I get on the other computer!!'06

Crappy crappy day. We went downtown to get some light cotton trousers for the boys and DS2 managed to get bitten by a street cat. We spent the next few hours at the health clinic getting rabies serum, follow up rabies jabs (the boys had one before we left) and waiting around in case of an allergic reaction. Luckily the bite wasnt too deep and i always carry disinfectant gel with me so the doc thinks the chances of him having caught anything are slim. We went for the serum anyway just to be on the safe side.
On a more positive note, the docs were lovely and the centre well equiped with medicine such as the typhoid vaccine (there is a national shortage in the UK) so we signed up and i think i will do my prenatal stuff at one of their branches.
Oh and felt a definite kick or two this evening. Up to now it has just been bubbles that could have been gas LOL. I think he / she is trying t tell me not to worry.

CONGRATS on a healthy baby!! And 2. It gets easier, I promise it does... I cried for a month (play honestly I'm still having teary days) but now I'm starting to get excited about another little boy
I know as soon as we lay eyes on them we will be completely smitten! AND - maybe we can TTC our pinky #4 together after this one is born!!
Keeping you in my thoughts today

It better be....I do hope that our group has better luck!! Your decree sounds like a plan!
I think that lady luck might have boy bits for Dec.....but she better have a few pink beans in the Christmas stockings for at least one of us
I had 2 separate "it better be a girl" or "fingers crossed for a girl" commented today. I blame others for making me feel any bit bad about not having a girl/having another boy.'06

Red hat.jpg I made both red hats, just hope that his little noggin fits one to come home from the hospital with. It was fun to work on something that was different, but still simple to do when I really was not feeling as energetic to make something!!
