Morning ladies,

The Royal baby is finally on its way. Still sticking with my girl guess, thinking we'll find out in the morning that the baby has been born.

Got my results from the NT scan and bloods this morning and they look fine.

Emily, how awful for your son being bitten by a street cat, but as you said hopefully all is okay now.

Ladybug, love the outfit and hats. So cute.

Charlee, thanks for your declaration, but I can't help but think that I will be adding to the blue bunch soon.

Who's next for scans? Ours is on 8th August, so about 2.5 weeks from now.

Thanks GEcon. The bite was scary but the medicalstaff are confident that he will be fine as we got there so quickly. One medical emergency over .......

Today he got his thumb trapped in a glass door hinge. And when i say trapped i mean 5 mins of screaming whilst 17 hotel staff attempt to wedge it open with spoons and unscrew the door. Seriously scary stuff - i really thought he was going to lose a thumb. The xrays show a severely (but not broken) bone so he was very lucky. Now i just want them to sit in bed with me and watch TV. I dont want them to move. Ever. What the hell am i going to be like with a newborn? I may attempt the longest pregnancy ever. Elephants manage two years dont they.

Oh Emily, how scary. Hope he will feel better soon and things start to normalise soon for you all.

How are you getting on with the house hunting? Will you be buying or renting?

I think girl baby too. Would be cool! So long as she doesn't steal my girl name... :-) Not likely!

I'm more worried about them having the same brand pram that we would like and the prices going up after that.

Emily - You poor thing! Oh my goodness that's just too many mishaps as of late... hopefully the madness is over now... poor little guys!

Ah the royal baby.... yes I'm excited, just as I would be for any new parents

But a baby is a baby! This is not the second coming of Christ or anything... or is it? hahahaha

I guess girl too... I guess we'll see soon!

Totally agree, Charlee. Looking forward to finding out, but am also hoping that it will put an end to the Royal Baby Watch that has been going on for months.

Oh no Emily what a shame. We actually quite like the name Elizabeth for a girl (nickname Effie) but if the royals used it would be off the list lol. Although Daisy is still our number one, we've got lots of fictional girl names from each potential pregnancy that always turned out blue lol
