Thanks fir being so nice ladies. This has become my venting place as i dont want my family to find out about the bite orthe thumb as they are already worried about the move. That means i cannot tell anyone i am facebook friends with in case they mention it on my wall.
It was a stupid glass door with one of those hinges that have more space when they are completely open than closed. He must have put his thumb in when it was open and then it got squashed when it was closed. Unfortunately reopening makes the gap temporarily smaller so they couldnt just open it. They had to take the door off. He is still in a lot of pain, on painkillers and bandaged up. He also had to go back for another rabies shot this morning so now hates everyone in a white coat. I was a mess until they got him out and then i regained my cool because i had too!
Toddlers crawl off your lap and onto your mind! I love it - so true! Hopefully that is the only "excitement" we will have for a while.
I agree that the media are going a bit crazy about this baby. I thought it was a girl too and am glad that it isnt! We will still have the nonsense about how will design the christening dress etc but hopefully the end is in sight! with regar to swaying (i dont think they did but look for clues as to why people get the gender they did) She was probably on a strict pregnancy diet before conception, full vit supps and i bet they had loads of attempts to make sure it happened when their schedules coincided.
I bet Harry is relieved to be further down the line now so he can enjoy his army days and party antics. I find him hilarious! Sooooo different from his Dad!

Can't wait to use our slings again. We have got two: a Close baby carrier and a Rose & Rebellion one. Our LO absolutely loved being carried in them.

Happypixi - Great pic, you look great, and adorable sweet boy! And yes, absolutely helps to have that kind of perspective!
Ladybugs - ADORABLE hats and going home outfit! Great job!
Emily - Oh my goodness, your poor baby!! How horrible! Praying for no more "excitement" in your household for a LONG, LONG time!
Royal baby - I totally thought girl, too...happy it's a little prince! Of course, in the USA it was news, but I'm sure not nearly as much attention as in the UK!
AFM - I got back this evening from a nice little vacay with my sweet family. All in all, a great time together, but glad to be home, too. Had a little fit in the car on the drive there about Ramzi...ashamed of myself! I had completely convinced myself it was 100% another boy, and wow, I totally ranted at DH! Really brought to light how strong my GD is! Need to prepare myself now to hear boy. However, after researching a little more about Ramzi, I think I still have a glimmer of hope...looking at pics of transverse ultrasounds (where you can actually determine right/left), the uterus is shaped more horizontally, like a jellybean. In mine, the pic is more vertical, so I think may be a sagittal view, which doesn't show right/left. Still need to prepare myself for boy, though!
