I'm 8 dpo and really having a hard time resisting the urge to test! Anyone have success testing this early?

I've never tested that early, but I've seen some ladies here who have and some have gotten BFP but most get BFN! I Will be 11 dpo on Christmas Eve! I'm trying to decide if I want to test on Christmas Eve or Christmas but I don't want to risk being disappointed so maybe I should wai until AF is due,, but I don't know if I'm that patient!

I couldnt resist it and i tested (also 8 dpo today), its BFN but it has a slight shade on it. I didnt use the early morning urine, so i cant wait testing tomorrow morning.

I'm 7 dpo now and I don't think I've caught this cycle. Other than a bit of tummy bloating and being teary, which is usual for me before af, I don't feel any different. I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

This waiting stage is so hard isn't it. I'm so impatient. I'm trying to remember if I felt any different in early stages with ds1 and ds2.

I am also missing January too ttcpink. I'm just not sure whether I can go 'all out' now or wait for af? Im getting 'don't drop any more weight, you're too skinny' comments from my mum, so would be nice to be able to put on a bit, to let me lose it again January. Does anyone know if that's ok? To gain, then lose again close to an attempt (feb)?

I would be also interested in knowing if thats okay. I have the same issue with the diet.

I can't decide whats worse; a BFN or AF:/ Its always tough deciding when to test. What a great Christmas present a BFP would be for both of us

If it has anything on it then its probably positive! What brand did you use?

I am only using cheap strips from amazon that's why I don't mind testing. It was BFN but it had a weird shade on it like on Megan429 picture earlier on in this thread. She got her AF later so I am not putting my hopes up.

Could be an evap line!! I'm jealous that you are now in the testing window, that seems so far away for me!

I haven't heard about the evaporation line before but you are right, it could well be that. I have to admit I never spend so long looking at a strip of paper before :-) My eyes desperately wanted to see a line there. I even kept on tilting it against the light in hope of seeing something :-) I might retake tonight just to see if it was the evaporate line.

I have all my fingers crossed for you Thorz300 and I will be logging on on Christmas Eve!
