August TTC a Girl Thread

I was really hoping to see some BFPs when I checked this thread tonight. I couldn't resist the urge and did a hpt this morning at 8dpo...negative obviously. I did an opk later in the afternoon and there is a faint line there so hoping that is a good sign. Patience isn't one of my virtues!

I have new stuff. Had an ultrasound today to check if the Clomid is working. She found a few cysts/follicles all under .5cm and oh yeah quite a few nubothian cysts in my uterus. Which is not a good sign i guess.

Im at cycle day 13. There is no reason for my follicles to be so small unless the clomid just didn't work. I believe I am out this month.

Sorry livethe3quetra! What are they going to do next? Is it the first round of clomid?

Sorry livethe3quetra,I don't know enough about clomid to reassure you. I'm hoping your scan was just a bit early and the follicles just needed to mature a bit more! D9 and another BFN for me. Roll on tomorrow.

Hi, I'm new here and I'm 10DPO in our 1st cycle of TTC. Not too happy with our sway as I didnt do much of the diet. We done one attempt at +OPK and I tested this morning and I'm sure I can see a line, but we will just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings. Hope to see some BFPs on this thread soon.

Hey! I'm in a very similar position to you shevon! I am around 10-12dpo in our 1st cycle too and likewise I am not too happy with our sway as my diet was pretty far from a LE diet : ( We DTD every 4 days as part of our sway. I've been having period type cramps for the last 3 days and feel a little meh but its probably all in my mind rather than a successful attempt. I am scared that if it was successful I will be worried that my sway was not exactly how I wanted it to be whereas I may be able to tweak it next time around if I get a BFN.

live3quetra - I'm so sorry! I don't know enough about clomid myself, but I hope you aren't out!

popple and shevon - last cycle I was literally 100% perfect on the diet.. AND.. BFN.. This month I've been far less than perfect. I say this because trying to have the perfect month where you are great on the diet AND get a BFP is nearly impossible so don't stress about cheats on the diet. It's about eating "less" than you were before, not a certain exact thing every day.

I looked at my calendar again and I think I'm really only 10 or 11 dpo today, so it's stupid to test, but I have enough internet cheapies that I probably will anyways. Saving my FRER for tomorrow (11/12/13 dpo). I have zero symptoms so I'm sure I'm out. I'm trying to look at the bright side.. I was horrible about taking my fiber this month so I can tweak that next month and try to have less cheats on the diet, etc.

Livethe3 - I am so sorry to see anything but a positive update from you. Any chance of those follies growing and you having a late ovulation? I hat eto think you're out already

Lya- I can only get on at work right now because WiFi isn't being installed in my new house until tomorrow! And it's hard to get on at work because I don't like people knowing about us swaying haha. I really don't have all that much going on though.

Me+4 - still plenty of time for a BFP this month! Good luck!

Shevon - Sorry you are not thrilled with your sway, but YAY for the possible BFP!!

Popple - I have been worrying about my diet also. I am still losing weight but I think my fat intake is almost always over the limits. With my allergies AND being vegetarian it so hard to find low fat options without eating healthy fruits and veggies all the time.

As for me- we had our one attempt on Tuesday morning because of that practically positive OPK the day prior. Now my OPK's seem to be messing with me, as I had an almost positive again last night. I don't know what is going on, but I figure that DH and I will just have another attempt Saturday to cover all bases, just in case I didn't O after that original + OPK. That will keep us in the every 4 days sway tactic, and I am okay with that

Well done bluebonnet.... I don't know how you have the strength not to test! I'm so frustrated. Not only did I ovulate early this month at D14 but today at 9Dpo I have got brown ecm. Last month this led to AF a few days later. But if that was the same this month then AF would be early too! I'd like to think that it is implantation spotting especially as my temp hasn't dropped. But after last month trying to convince myself that is was implantation spotting I was very disappointed when AF showed. I can only assume this diet is messing with my cycle! Do you think I am out?
