Fish, I think it's a lovely idea to name the little one. For what it's worth, someone in my first mothers group lost one twin too, and she had no further complications and her daughter was fine. I hope they gave you enough information to reassure you, but I suppose it would be hard to take it in at the time. Is it possible to ring your obs and ask a few more questions if you find you're getting anxious about it?

So I had to share what I have been doing all day... I must be crazy!! Now my back hurts because I spent half the day bent over but it will be worth it to see the look on his face. This is what DS2 requested on his birthday cake!! I am sure you ladies on here can relate with the boy themed birthday cakes. Most popular theme in my house is some sort of superhero.

My cousin was over last night and she went on the computer and I had it on this web site and she saw my user name and everything and is talking about swaying for a third girl... :s anyways the conversations My thoughts and everything I talk about on here are private to me in a sense I would not talk to family about it... And now I'm worried that she will be coming here and reading all my stuff...

NBP will have no problem changing that for you! Message her! And yes, If it were me I would totally change my name, and take down pictures, years my sons were born, and location .. in a heartbeat. It's NOBODY'S business but yours! Bringing that stuff into your family will only bring ridicule, judgement, heartbreak, and embarrassment. I will tell nobody else in my life besides those that already know. It's just none of their business at all. Period!

Good luck for your scan Honeychild. Who else is having scans this week? I need someone to stalk! I'm seeing my ob in a few weeks and I know she'll do a gender guess for me then (I'll be 15 weeks) but that's AGES away.

Thorz, I think going to a gender scan with your DH is essential, either way it takes the pressure off the anatomy scan.

That is an awesome cake Wanting. My girls know better than to expect such marvels from me!

Even though I "know" things are likely to be fine I'll take the Materniti21 blood test tomorrow. I'd decided it was unnecessary and my ob and husband agreed but over the weekend my mind changed again. The results will take three weeks so I need to do the test and forget about it.

Good luck with your test tomorrow too. It's an extra bit of peace of mind, that's always a good thing, but I'm glad you're feeling better about the odds now, that's great.
