Rg64AG some brands work and some don't if you're using strips ... I bought some on a roll and had no luck, but the pHion brand worked well for me. Search for them on ebay. Some other ladies use the hanna pH meter. Good luck!

Welcome to Petey's! We are chatty and frequently seem to veer off topic (topic being TTC boy) but it's part of our charm All are happy to help with any Q's you might have.

Tink and Jen, all of that SUCKS! I married into the best family in the whole wide world Which after my crap hole of a childhood, I fully appreciate and love and thank God I have them

See begonia my dh got the same marriage bonus, he's loved, accepted and treated the same as my sister and I by my parents. His childhood was so bad with his parents he calls my dad to boast about a great meeting or a new client he landed. He cares more about what my dad has to say then his own family. I think it's so sad the only parental approval he gets is from his in-laws but, on the other hand, I'm so glad he gets it from somewhere.

Speaking of the hanna pH monitor I've got one I'm looking to get rid of!

(plus it's not easier, she is just lazy and serves everything on Tupperware. Not how I roll) I said no, that's ok, Keith and I would like to do it at our house. She was soo annoyed with me because she wanted all the credit for this party. It was so weird. I was just trying to do something nice. Because my MIL and had mentioned no one has ever made a big fuss over them being married for as long as they had. So I made a fuss. MY LORD did that bother SIL!! And as I do on ever event I host at my house I set my table up nicely and decorate. When she walked in she made some rude comments "its just 40 years, you didn't need to go all out" I just had my nice china out and some flowers on the table it's not like I had it catered. She just isn't use to it, because she serves Christmas dinner to her guests on paper plates and Tupperware...no offense to anyone but it's just not how I was raised. I use paper plates daily..just not when I am hosting a nice dinner. It's just irritates me. I wanna kick her in her no no spot.

    Anyways...welcome peteysgirl!

Cheekymoo, yay for starting your attempt month.

Spicy, I would probably skip a month. If you went ahead and conceived a girl you would be forever wondering 'what if?'.

Babydes, exactly right. We're not doing all this for the fun of it.

3PNB, must be nice to be feeling preg. The tiredness is so much worse when you have other kids to chase after. Well it was for me anyway. I need to get a ph monitor but being in different countries I don't think it's worth me buying it off you? Would cost a bit to post I'd think?

iluv, hmm could very well be prayer. I'll keep it up And shh on the Clomid swaying girls, and multiples! Sheesh, don't know if I could handle that.

Begonia, I know it's crazy right. I wake up in the morning wondering if anyone has posted about BFPs or other exciting stuff. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for joining here so many months before our actual attempt because I'm going to become an obsessed crazy lady!

Princess, I'm not sure what I would do about timing, it's a tricky one.

Tink and 3PNB, that's some messed up family stuff. My inlaws aren't on my list to win any family medals or anything either. My DH didn't have the nicest childhood either but it makes him stronger. He treats our kids so differently to the way he was brought up and has so much love for them. He doesn't want them to miss out on the things he did.

    Petey's girl, welcome

TTC5, I knew you would cave I wonder whats up with the temps and no AF and BFN? What sensitivity are the ones you're using? Think I am going to cross L-arg off my list now. No one has anything good to say about it. Will your DH still take it?

Well, my temps are up this morning so it's looking like I did O. I wish I had of had some OPKs at the time. I've ordered some for next time. My EWCM wasn't as good as I would have hoped so I'm going to really focus on that for now.

    @ TTC5.
With first DD, I had BFN after AF was due. Didn't get BFP until a few days after I expected AF. I wasn't charting at the time but was wondering WTF due to lateness (I think I was around day 35 when BFP). Go get some more tests - you're not done yet! Good Luck!

Sounds like yes to me. I think the rule of thumb is night of first + opk, correct me if I'm wrong. That's when we DTD (now in 2WW).
