Dreaming Pink Due Date Group: TTC and Beyond

So ladies,

I haven't really looked at the pics or video any more recently as I didn't think there was anything to see and I have the strong boy feeling, but have just looked at it again and am wondering if there may be a gender clue or even a nub in my video. I have put the times in the post.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

I can see something between the legs at the 1st time marker (30 -45) seconds but cannot work out what it is. I could be swollen female bits or the beginning of scrotum - someone more experienced might eb abke to hazard a guess. I couldnt see a willy so all good i watched the bit at 4 mins a few times but could nit see a nub - is it on the screen moving or the stills at the side?

Emily, thanks for your feedback. It is in the moving bit between 4:12 and 4:13, just before it goes over to the still shots.

My 20 week scan is booked for 27th Aug, I was unable to wait that long, got straight back from my holiday and booked a genderscan, got in straight away................it's a BOY!!!!! DS3 is on his way!

I am gonna post some pics, I know I'm mad but keep looking at them wondering if maybe its just very swollen girlie bits? crazy i know!

I actually feel fine, am worried about other people's reactions tho, have already had the 'are u hoping for a girl' etc. I have started second guessing my sway and am even contemplating baby no 4 and what I'd do differently, selfish!

2LB, glad you had a good holiday. How confident was the tech with the gender guess? 15 weeks is quite iffy to get a 100% correct guess, I'm only thinking of Thorz & her little 'boy' at 15 weeks! It's good that you're okay with it if it is correct, but don't forget we're here if you ever have a wobble. Thanks for the congrats on my ds3. I found it hard to start with, but I'm definitely a lot better now. I still have my moments though! Looking forward to hearing how you get on on 27th August.

2lovelyboys - CONGRATS on sweet DS3! Being honest, the first pic does look like a boy, but the pee pee is on the short side, and I have heard of "boys" turning into girls when declared boys at this stage! So you never know...I wouldn't declare it a done deal just yet. So glad to hear you're feeling ok about it. I was the same as you after hearing DS3 was a boy...if he had been a girl, we would've stopped, I think. Good luck with planning your next sway!

GeCon - I understand on holding onto the dream! Mine will be over so soon, assuming I hear boy! But I wouldn't have it any other way...just wanna know so I can deal with it. I looked at your pics and video...didn't see a nub in the pics, but did see something between the legs in the video...the potty shot bit. BUT, don't both genders have something between the legs that early? In the second part of the video, I very briefly saw what appeared to be a nub, but it was so fast, there is no way to see its angle. So sorry! But you definitely still have hope!

AFM - Afraid I might be coming down with something. Swollen gland and super tired today, after feeling a tiny bit more energy after increasing my thyroid meds. And DS1 had been complaining of not feeling so good this morning before his sports camp, but then seemed fine, so I took him. Afterward he started complaining again, and I felt his forehead and he was HOT! Temp was 102.9. Yikes! Some sort of bug has invaded our household. Yuck. Just hoping it's not a tummy bug (no GI symptoms yet) and that the fewest of us as possible get it. We'll see.

Told the other thread that I have been feeling down lately. I am normally a very positive person, and have always been so happy to be pregnant. But this time I am just feeling blah. I think I am already feeling upset about hearing boy again...then again, maybe it's just pregnancy hormones? I am also getting sick of summertime and ready for my boys to get back into the school routine! Anyone else feeling blah?

Dream, I was 16+2 at the scan, have u seen the pics? Not long till my 20 week scan and confirmation! Did Thorz post any pics of her scan? Would be interesting to see them! I am having a wobble 2day, feel down and emotional, don't know if I could do this again and hear boy but then can't imagine not trying once more for my dream!

Rainbowgirl, thanks for your supportive words, I thought that 'bits' looked small but I didn't know if that could be due to age? Never had gender scans at this point with my other 2 so I can't compare. I feel silly for hoping as there definitely appears to be something between the legs! Still clutching at straws!

GeCon, remember like the ladies ave said nubs can appear very similar at this stage, doesn't count u out!

Sorry GeCon i cannot see anything in the screenshot. When is your next scan? I am hoping to book one for the 16th. Ds1 will be at school at DS2 needs yet another rabies jab so we will be at teh docs anyway.

So, i think DS1 is finally starting to suspect. After DH reading yet another book to him with baby animals in he asked if i wanted another one. He said he thought it would be fun and rushed off to ask Daddy for a seed for me to swallow!!!!! DH managed not to burst out laughing thank god! We are moving into our house on Friday so I think we will tell hime whenever it comes up naturally after that.

FX for more H&H pregnancies. How are all you mums-to-be doing? Hope you're all doing well. So surprised at the amount of little boys sneaking in - must be boy season! As crazy as it sounds, I really don't mind trading a little of my pink dust for any kind of sticky baby dust right now...

Thanks girls for all the support....the scan is in 6 hours and while I doubt the tech can/will say much, I do hope that all is well. We have the appt next Tuesday with the MD to go over results....so today is just an opportunity to hopefully see him for a little bit again and get a pic!!

2lovely....I am adjusting to the thought of three boys, I find that late nights when I am tired, I cry more about the feelings of never having a daughter. I decided that I will be good to myself about his arrival, even if not a single "friend" is great, I will make sure he is celebrated!!!! I refuse to let anyone take my joy away!!!

2lovely.....so do you think he will be on board for one more? That would be exciting...I think that you, Dream, Charlee all could be getting to experience the other side of the coin the next time around!!!

Gecon....Just a wee bit more time til your scan....sorry I can't provide much for a guess, but your little one is cute!!

Charlee....how are you and the boys today? I can only imagine how far gone the vehicle is.....and how grateful you must feel for your wellbeing....continued hugs and prayers!!

Dream....do you have anymore scans? Any new appts??? How are your boys settling in with the idea of a new brother? My DS1 keeps on telling me "we don't know if it is a boy or girl, but if it is a girl, she is my sister and if it is a boy, then I have 2 brothers!!!" Since we are choosing to not say much to family and friends, my secret spiller needed to not find out!!!

Bunnywabbit.....you could have a sweet spring baby!!! They are the most amazing deal ever, you are big preggo in winter, and can babywear them all summer long with a tank and moby wrap...hope that this is your cycle!!! Hope that your MIL can back down a little and give you your space.

AFM...I have been having this pain on my right side and it makes me want to cry...I tell myself it is ligament pain, but I hurt so much and then worry about my little him. He has been so quiet this week so far....I like when they kick up a storm and you just know that all is good.
