I went for my blood work today. My doc pissed me off. Im in canada and so everything is "covered" and physicians are impossible to get. I asked for 2 sets of blood work papers (we have to go to a lab, separate from doc), and he wouldn't. I just wanted to see my numbers grow after a few days. He woudnt, I also asked to add that he check my progesterone and he also wouldn't. Said it doesn't prove anything. That it's not reliable. I have had 2 mcs. But he's like but you've had 4 good pregnancies. So I guess I'm at his mercy.

Anyways my betas will be available online tomorrow the lab tech said

I am sorry he didn't want to be more helpful than that. I am curious though.... I am in Alberta and how are you able to view your beta's online? Am I missing something?

My sister is still being negative about the whole thing. She said it's still low so it could still be an ectopic. I think I am done telling her things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can respond the next time she asks me for information about this? Keep in mind, she still considers herself as infertile despite having 5 children.

I woudnt tell her shit anymore, Except that maybe "at this time I really appreciate positivity from my friends and especially those I've confided in. If we could leave the medical diagnosis to the professionals that would be helpful"

Just tell her that you are "cautiously optimistic". Hopefully that will avoid the negative "but what if"s and not sound like gloating at the same time (I'm sure you aren't but it may seem that way to her so best to avoid it). Or if you are religious just say "It's in God's hands" or "in fate's hand" or something like that.
