We dtd last night in the end. The more I've read up today, the more I'm convinced the opk's were positive and I've missed it now. Have been trying to work out whether there is any chance. If my LH surge was between Monday morning and Tuesday morning and we dtd on Tuesday night, I guess there could be a chance all depending on when I actually ovulated and how long the egg sticks around for (and how quick dh sperm is!).

What do you think? Annoyingly I meant to bd before first +opk but how to predict that I haven't a clue!!!

We also bd on Thursday last week so maybe there's a chance that if I ovulated earlier there may have been something hanging around!

Think I'm going to invest in some more expensive opk's for next cycle to confirm the cheapies as this is getting stressful!

looby - it sounds like you are in with a chance as you have had one attempt in the fertile window - Thursday then Tuesday. If the egg popped out on monday night/tuesday morning then thats the slimmest chance of success but its still a chance nonetheless? Yes I agree these cheap tests are so hard!

Will BD tonight regardless as I dont want to not BD then get a positive tomorrow when we cant BD! So much for not being under pressure lol

The acupuncture session I just had was pretty good actually. She said that this would be a more stimulating one to encourage blood flow and encourage ovulation. It was definitely different to the last one and did feel quite stimulating. I dont have any OPKs left at work now so its going to be 6pm when I can take another one.

loobylue - I think there might be a good chance you did get an attempt in. I agree those tests can be really hard to read and also in combination of the bodys signs of o - I got confused by trying to read both the opk lines AND ewcm, cervix and cramping. Fx for you!

stephk - I was hoping for you to get an opk+ by now, but I think you are doing just right by BD tonight. After this acupuncture things might go quickly! :-) Fx!

Pressure - I know what you mean! Well, I guess time will tell for me but will stay on the LE diet wagon!!!

My only experience of accupuncture was to induce labour! No idea if it worked but I managed to avoid being induced (11 days overdue) and it felt good to be doing something positive.

You're good doing the opks at work. I tried once or twice but felt I was suspiciously too long in the loos!!! Lol.

Luckily enough, I dont sit near my boss and the loos are quite far from my desk so i pick up my blackberry and notebook and just walk off like I am going to a meeting, no-one bats an eyelid. Then I answer emails whilst I am waiting for the test result

Oh ladies, I am so sorry those opks are giving you such a hard time. if you both miss this month I would maybe try the BD every 4 days to give it the best chance next cycle.

Also I had read somewhere that 2pm is the optimum time to test but to make sure you don't drink anything 2 hours before.

Rosie, re BD every 4 days. How many clear days inbetween? If bd on Monday, should the next one be Thursday or Friday? Thanks for your help.
