Ok so i gave in and went to next at the weekend, i figured after two i think its a girl ultra sounds, a girly nub and my cvs test i'd bite the bullet and presume its probably a girl (and this will be the only chance i get to do the girl thing anyway as its our last). Three people in next came over and asked me if i needed any help and if i could find what i was after (apart from looking like a weird person loitering near the girl clothes trying to gain confidence to pick something up i had my boys with me so what they were probably saying was er are you sure your in the right aisle the boys stuff is over there!).

I came home so pleased with my two little dresses til i saw my best friend who said isn't it a bit early to be buying clothes your only just gone 20 weeks, its a bit like tempting fate i was so upset and now keeping thinking what if i have jinxed things? I did wait til 30 plus weeks with the first two boys (the third i brought something blue a couple of weeks after the 20 week us as a way of bonding with him)
    Me, DH, the three musketers:

    DS1

    DS2

    DS3

    And our little princess

By the grace of god our precious little girl joined our family, hoping and praying for many happy years together

I bought a few things straight after my 20 week scan. It felt really strange but I just had to get a couple of things to try and let it sink in. Try not to worry about others comments. For me I figured I'd enjoy the moment, its not like you're pulling the tags off & washing them so forget what your friend said, enjoy the pink

I got some goodies from ebay today I just pinched the pics from the listings so i dont have to bother taking pics, but they look exactly like this... The green owl towel wrap is a baby shower prezzie for my SIL who is expecting a boy in May and the blue shark one is for my baby boy The nursing pillow is for me too, cant wait to start using it!!!

Aw Mrs p I don't think its tempting fate at all, most ppl buy something after the 20wk scan.... I did it felt very strange buying pink after 2 boys! I kept tags on untill 30wks I think then I started washing everything.
