Jen I'm excited you might find out; I was told at 16 weeks with DD2 so I bet you might even get to know at the next appointment! Will you have them write it down for you and go somewhere or will you have them just tell you? I remember a friend of mine had her gender u/s in November and they had the tech write it down, then they wrapped it up and opened it as a family (they already had a son) on Christmas day. That was pretty sweet. I really think if DH wasn't so into the surprise I probably would do something like that. I definitely wouldn't want to hear it just laying there on the table again, I have far too much emotion wrapped up in this and don't want to cry in front of a stranger, LOL.

I do think if we can get past our anatomy scan w/o finding out I'll be able to make it. I will say that I have abandoned my whole approach to just think of it as girl #3, because I've found that mentality is really making me upset. I can honestly say in the LONG RUN when I think about my whole life, I will be a-ok with having 3 daughters. But right now, I want to believe we will have a son because otherwise I'm just not enjoying my pg. So while it may disappoint me in the end I am very much hoping this is our boy. Thinking of it as a girl does me more bad than good, so I might as well go with the option that makes me happy for the next 6-7 months!

Oh Lola I SO hope you're pg!!!! Go ahead and test at 9dpo, no harm in trying! I skipped 9 and tested on 8 (lol) and 10, but I wonder if I could have seen it on 9. It was totally, totally negative at 8 though.

WP, you are definitely still in this game for this month, esp since it looks like you BD'd right on your O day! So yesterday you were only 10 dpo; will you test again or just wait for AF? How are the symptoms, still there? And FWIW I do still do sit-ups. ITA with Lola that you can continue exercise your body is used to doing already. I'm still doing weights and elliptical about 3x a week right now.

Hi all, just an update from me. We lost bub and had d and c yesterday. All ok though we r youngish and I have 3 fantastic girls. You what they say sometimes you need to lose something in order to appreciate it more!

Mr dr was happy for me to try again as he said I am a pretty low risk factor of it happening again but think we will hold iffy till dec Jan and have some me time and fun with the girls!

Goodluck to the rest of you and in the nicest possible way, I hope I don't see u on here when I come back in dec!!!

Take care and blue dust to u all!

WP- I'm only unsure of your O because of your CM. Either way though you've got great timing and are definitely not out! Your temps are nice and high.

3pnb- I'm hoping to try in October. DH loves to teeter back and forth as to whether to TTC at all. One day he's fine, the next he wants to wait a year! Meanwhile he's happily taking supplements and chatting with me about swaying so I have no idea honestly. I very much want a baby..like yesterday..especially after just having a loss (oops bfp) so we'll see what happens. I'm fairly certain it won't take much persuasion come Oct lol.

Lola & Begonia thank you ladies so much! I'll be using preseed too so I guess I won't even bother trying to figure out my own ph. I have a lunette cup I was going to try that I may still do for kicks!

ams- I'm so sorry to read about your loss mama. Hugs to you and your family and sticky vibes for your next one!

ams- A mama on here, Atomic I believe, told me that post m/c cycles swayed girl. So I think Oct would be good for you too, and it's a peak boy month apparently.

Thanks ladies for the advice. If I can get to the store, I will test again on Monday if no AF. Seems so weird that you guys are getting BFP on 8-10dpo and I am 11dpo and nothing....kind of makes me think I am out for the month. I was using FRER, too.

I am so sorry ams. You sound like you are taking so well. I had to have that done with mc #3. Get lots of rest.
    thank you GD

I don't think it's common but one of my friends was a week late when she finally got her bfp via blood test (still no stick bfp). She went on to have a boy and had her dates right!! So fingers crossed.

Oh honey, I am SO SORRY! I hope you all are doing ok!!!!! I will pm you about all of the supps and stuff I took, because I had two m/c in a row, as you can see in my siggy. I was all about pumping up my health and egg quality. HUGE CYBER HUGS! Seems like you have a great attitude about it. There is really not much you can do but mourn for a bit and then move forward. Bear with me with the pm, my freaking office just filled with smoke and I had to call 911, it was crazy but no damage, just an elevator motor that was about to blow and putting off tons of noxious smoke. So, I'm tired, and trying to take it easy since I *think* things are implanting today. I hope. But anyway, I will write you later for sure!!!!

And ELP, I am in the US, but thank you for offering, you are such a sweetie!!! How are you doing?

My dr told me to wait for 3 full cycles to pass before ttc again after my last loss. I did have a natural m/c, but being that I was 10wks, she said it really is best to let your homones and uterus settle down and your lining to renew itself a few times. After my 5wk m/c in January, we took Feb off and then ttc and got pg in March, but that was the 10wk loss. Who knows if my lining couldn't sustain.....I don't know, but I REALLY would wait at least 2 cycles, 3 if you can. xxoo
