Forgot to mention I lost just 1/2lb this week! That's ok, it leaves me room to lose more than usual next week which is closer to our attempt.

Well done on the weight loss, z! It's the aspartame that causes headaches, it's happened to me a few times too. Mocha, I really hope this is your month! I'm eating chocolate too!

Mike and Ikes just take like really chewy jelly beans. I like the green package the best - my boys absolutely love them.
Z - are you drinking caffeine free diet Coke, or regular? I tried Diet Coke and couldn't stand the stuff, but I'm really getting used to (and even starting to like) Diet Pepsi. I've always hated the taste of aspartame, but I do find you can get used to it over time.
I'm going to try to wait until Thursday to test (9dpo), but I have a feeling I'll cave and test with an IC tomorrow. I'm feeling really down this morning, like there's no way I'm actually pregnant. I don't know why I'm feeling so discouraged, because I have had a few symptoms...then again I've had symptoms every month and still gotten a BFN. I'm just really dreading having to take a whole month off before trying again if I don't get my BFP. I'm sooooo done with this whole process.

Mocha, will you take a month off the diet too?? That is really frustrating having to take time off! I also feel I've had symptoms every month, that's why I didn't bother paying attention to it this month, didn't want to get hopes up!! I have a good feeling about you this month, 3rd time lucky!!

I don't know what to do about the diet. I want to cry at the thought of willingly taking on 2 more months of it, but I'm worried that if I go off it I'll never be able to face starting it again. I'm also worried I'll stuff my face so much I'll gain lots of weight and ruin my sway. I was thinking of maybe staying under 1800 calories, but eating all the taboo foods for 2 weeks, giving me 6 weeks before our next attempt.
I just wish I didn't have to take the month off!

I'd better be pregnant because I seem to have lost all the self-control I've been boasting about these past 4 months. Not only did I have a slice of bacon (it was low sodium at least - 120mg per slice - but the first red meat I've had in 4 months!), but I had not one, but TWO pieces of chocolate cake!!!! Today is DH's birthday, so the whole day has been sort of a wash
7am: coffee
12pm: lunch out - grilled Greek panini (olives, feta, red peppers, eggplant, lettuce) - it was the only veggie option on their menu and really wasn't very tasty - a bit of a waste of a salty cheat + mixed berry sorbet for dessert
4pm: licked the beaters from the icing I was making for the cake
5:30pm: leftover homemade low sodium ricotta and spinach canneloni, 1 slice of low sodium bacon, 2 slices of homemade chocolate cake
I feel like I could just keep eating and eating. I know I'm going to want a snack later, but I think I'm going to try to stick with fruit - either some watermelon I know I have in the fridge or some frozen grapes.

It really doesn't look that bad mocha - not compared to pre-girl diet anyhow! I hope your DH had a good birthday
We're going to Pizza Hut tomorrow so I've been looking at the menu trying to decide what's do-able - not good when it's 11pm and my tummy is rumbling for tomorrow's lunch already!!2005
