Seabeewife- I agree with XX, if you've been temping you should be able to go to doc and show them hard evidence that you've got a short LP. They seem more willing to try progesterone cream before actual meds like Clomid and the like. Praying for you - I know how frustrating it is. [emoji17]
Junie: thanks for the reassurance! That looks like a longer cycle too so THAT also gives me hope - seems when I google "long cycle BFP" I get a of of encouragement...all from people with DD! [emoji4] which would still be fine, but I'm still holding out for a happy, healthy DS!

My doctor is awful. I brought this problem to her before DH deployed and she "supposedly" checked my hormones and said I was fine. Military issued doctors are the worst. I already was diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency so she contributes it all to that and my past of depression.

Oh that's just dreadful! There is nothing worse than incompetent doctors. Then I would post in the general swaying forums and in the infertility forum (the one where the 2ww one is) and ask Atomic and NBP where to get some. They may be able to point you in the right direction. I would just hate for you to get a hold of some sham product and it either not work or cause more problems.
I'm Xing everything and [emoji120]for you!

I'll have to ask. I found a couple on amazon, they are all natural with amazing reviews. Thinking I'm going to add the b6 and red raspberry (I believe that's what I read) to my sway this time. I was sure this was my month, this LE diet and all the other sway factors are exhausting me.

The over the counter progesterone creams do not have enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy. Many times the issue is not progesterone, but it is a lack of estrogen that causes short LP. Your body is supposed to release a burst of estrogen at about 7 DPO that helps maintain the lining for a few more days before the lining breaks down.
Are you saying that your LP is 10 days long or shorter than that?? You should be able to get pregnant with a 10 day LP. I would personally not have you add B6 because I believe that sways blue and I feel like it creates more problems than it solves for hte majority of gals. RRLT may help a bit (if this is an estrogen issue and not a progesterone one) but I would only do it daily from AF-O then every other day in the LP
Ladies, I cannot keep up on support threads. There is just too much info in them. When you're struggling like this you have to start a post in the forums so I can help. I can't help you with q's that I never know are going on.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Taytum, the long break is for a few reasons. First off I can't risk giving birth between late Dec and late March bc I suffer from severe SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and would be a high risk for PPD. Then there is the fact that I've been swaying since November 2013 so I really need a substantial break, but I'll want to have 12w of swaying again under my belt before TTC, that means going back on the diet in September. Also I really, really want to avoid certain astrological signs (Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo) so basically I can only have a fall baby. I will maybe consider trying in late June if the timing aligns for an April 1st DD as I'd love an Aries. In that case I won't sway other than one attempt + clomid/femara (I have an appt tomorrow with an RE to discuss the results of the bloodwork taken last month, and she already commented on my short LP so I'm hopeful I'll get a script).
XX, I know all about that guy...very nice man but not up to my qualifications alas!
seabee, I'm so sorry about the spotting. But just so you know, spotting is common and can be perfectly normal. It does NOT necessarily mean you have low P. I urge you not to waste your money on P cream. It is barely absorbed through the skin so too ineffective to actually affect blood P.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I noticed light spotting at 9dpo when I checked my cervix. I was hoping it was implantation because it was so little. But when I got a bfn this morning with more spotting I knew it was over. Seems like my lp keeps getting shorter every month since getting off bc. A year ago.

That all makes a lot of sense, Maiden. I completely get it: it sounds like you know yourself really well and the mental well-being for yourself. You deserve a break, enjoy the hell out of it! Let us know how the doctor appointment goes tomorrow as well. And I think you should aim for the Aries DD, we're pretty awesome. [emoji6]

Why do my hopes get up with a good upward motion temp only to be struck down again by a lower temp the next day? [emoji17][emoji30]
